RIGG Studio LLC is a full-service architectural practice exploring the intersection of architecture, design, and technology at the residential scale. Led by founding principal Danny Rigg, AIA, the studio utilizes the latest technology and sustainable design strategies to provide architectural services that solve problems and exceed expectations.

The studio's design approach is characterized by conceptual innovation, a commitment to sustainability, a strong understanding of the construction process, and attention to detail. RIGG Studio collaborates with clients and contractors to create sustainable architecture that is sensitive to site, environment, and client needs.

Danny grew up in Sugar Land, Texas and graduated from the University of Houston Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design in 2008. Danny worked in graphic design during school, and after graduation he worked with respected architecture firms in the Houston area. Danny earned his architectural license in 2013, and he founded RIGG Studio in 2016 to explore the intersection of architecture, design, and technology.
Services
Our services include sketches, drawings, analysis, digital modeling, and coordination of the project team. We also work with you through permitting, contractor selection, and construction. Many architects are not currently implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and virtual reality technology into their workflows.
New construction of a single family residence located in Jamaica Beach, Texas. The home will be elevated 6' above the 100-year Base Flood Elevation for added resiliency. The design includes a high-performance building envelope designed for the Gulf climate, along with space planned for a future elevator.
The competition coordinated by the City of Houston and AIA Houston called for a resilient housing prototype for the Mayor's Complete Communities initiative. This new home is designed to keep the Third Ward neighborhood fabric intact and provide resilient and affordable housing for the families who have lived here for generations.
The AIA Houston Young Architect's Forum Design-Make Residency is an innovative program that bridges the gap between theoretical design and physical production. Throughout the program cycle, residents will develop their selected project and area of study, culminating in the production of object(s) to be displayed at Architecture Center Houston.
Renovations, both indoors and outdoors, will be done by more than 150 volunteers, with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Councilmember David Robinson, FAIA, and other community dignitaries speaking at noon. RIGG Studio contributed the modular garden design and assisted with construction and assembly.
