Services
VPM (Vigil Pest Management) is a locally owned pest control company started by two brothers born and raised in Fort Collins. Erik Vigil earned his Wildlife Biology degree from Colorado State University. Jeromy Vigil graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and has been assisting his brother with the business since 2010.
At VPM, we've created our own method of service which we call Environmental Pest Management (EPM). EPM is an environmentally sensitive approach to pest management that relies on a combination of common sense practices. EPM uses current, comprehensive information on the life cycles of pests and their interactions with the environment.

I contacted a number of services (via call/text) regarding help in removing a bird that had flown into my house, and perched in a window about 20 feet above the ground. This wonderful service returned my text with and estimate and time availability. I took them up on their price/availability. Ultimately I was able to get the bird out of my house on my own. I'm leaving this review because this service took the time to contact me with pricing and availability. I appreciate their promptness and professionalism. Best Customer Service! I reached out to three companies in Fort Collins to assist with my wasp problem. The two larger companies never contacted me back. VPM contacted me back and offered to come check out the problem free of charge. When Erik saw the wasp nest, he told me that he can't rightly charge me to deal with it...it was a small nest with less aggressive wasps. Instead, he checked out the wasp spray I purchased and gave me clear directions on how to handle the problem. Finally someone honest! I called them about a wasp issue I have in my backyard. They were honest with me and said, "It will freeze either tonight or tomorrow night, which normally killing them. So I would wait for until after that, and if they are still around, give us a call and we can take care of it." Needless to say, I am going to wait (10/18/16) until our first freeze. However, I will call these guys for anything I need, moving forward. Honesty is something you don't always find. Thank you guys, for being so honest with me.

I needed an exterminator and one of my friends referred me to Vigil Pest Management, so I though I would give them a try. From the initial phone call I was impress. Erik asked me about my pest problems, and gave me a time when he was able to come out to my house. Erik was prompt and his services were affordable. I hope I don't have to call an exterminator again, but if I do, I will not have any hesitation to call Vigil Pest Management.
