Over three hours for a oil change and inspection!! Always great service from Obaugh Kia, thought Obaugh Chevrolet would be the same. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!!! Was there before 0800 for my appointment, and the excuse I got was that overbooked inspections. Does that mean at least 8 people got there before my appointment? 4 inspectors an hour for each inspection.... no updates at all. Done with the Chevrolet service!!!!

I need to give a huge shoutout to Charlie Obaugh Chevrolet in Staunton. They went above and beyond to help Tyler and I on Friday. We were traveling to Pennsylvania for a wrestling dual and on our way up i81 my brakes went. I did my best to not panic and scare Ty and just got off the highway and called Jeffrey Cobb. He looked it up and found the… service center and it was only about a mile from where I was. I was terrified to drive the car again but got there safe. My husband and I just bought a new Traverse from here and are so pleased! Chris Jones is amazing and VERY knowledgeable. We started looking back in May and from May to June the price increased and Chris literally did everything he could to get us back where we needed to be. A friend and I were visiting from MI, her transmission in her truck went out and “Uncle Pat” and everyone else there worked really hard on a Friday night to diagnose the problem. When they confirmed it was the… transmission they moved quickly to get her approved for a new vehicle and we were able to get on the road by 7:30-8:00. I cannot emphasize the level of service by Cliff Clements and Heather Weaver. Our car was damaged and in need of repair. I contacted Mr. Clements who was extremely friendly and helpful. Due to the circumstances I had to call back several times and he was patient and understanding. The service team “went all out” to assist me. Ms, Heather Weaver… is our coordinator and she too exemplified truly awesome customer service. She was friendly and understanding. I experienced a throttle body failure on interstate 64 and had my vehicle towed to their facility. Heather, my service advisor, did a fabulous job of staying in communication with me. Any business willing to take advantage of a disabled man on a fixed income and smack talk "women" customers as they walk away from the service desk can't be trusted. David Wood, Donnie Eckert, and their manager Cliff Clements were so disrespectful and rude, I had to write this review.
My developmentally challenged cousin brought his vehicle to Charlie O'baugh for service last March because the air bag light was on in his Mazda. They performed the service and charged him $500. Almost immediately the light came back on but between being on lock down for Covid and his being delayed

Greeted as we came in. We were having our truck serviced which was done in a timely manner. We had also decided to look at the Buick Enclave. We were immediately taken on a test drive (loved it). We were then walked through the paperwork (had to sign a lot of forms but they made it as easy as they could). So after a few hours we left with a new car. Brent made sure our new car was clean and that we knew all the new features, he even followed up the next day to see if we had any questions!

While the wait for my oil change and inspection was long (almost 2 hours), the waiting area was clean and comfortable. The amenities were nice too (water, coffee, snacks). My vehicle looked great with the complimentary car wash and vacuum!
I also appreciate the Saturday morning hours--it was most convenient for my schedule.

Charlie Obaugh has a class operation in Staunton. We felt as if the red carpet had been rolled out for us! EVERYONE on the sales team was friendly, helpful, informative, and eager to see that our questions were answered completely. We feel that we received a great deal on the price of the new vehicle as well as the price they gave us for our trade-in Buick. Took my 2012 Suburban in for new brake pads on July 28. They said it would be $300 which I unfortunately assumed was competitive. Two days later I get the vehicle back and a bill for $400 (The $300 was just for brakes, not labor). All I needed was brake pads (I know this because I was at another dealership out of town getting an oil change and they told me.) I called around to some other brake dealers and was routinely quoted between $150 (Eavers in Fishersville) and $250 for parts and labor. After 45 years of getting service performed by GM dealers, this is the worst service I have ever received!
This is the first service I have had performed at this dealer. Dealer was contacted early Monday morning, to replace broken GM coolant hose, and re install the belt that came off. We wanted to determine if they could perform repairs immediately, since the breakdown occurred 800 miles from home. Service department agreed that they could do the repairs immediately.
Day 1: reported that bad parts were not GM parts. (Turns out one part wasn't bad, and the other was a GM part).
Day 2
