We got new windows with a contractor, Jim,
Who installed them. We were very happy, until the middle of the winter, 2019, when I noticed the large picture window got a tiny crack in it. I informed my husband that he needed to get that taken care of the next day. Jim was out of town until spring. In the meantime, the crack is spreading across the window, and is causing a draft. And I am concerned. My husband called again. This time, Jim is having a hard time with his wife on hospice. So again, we wait. Why is no one calling back?
It is now almost August and the window is falling apart! Do not ever

We decided to get a quote from Crystal Window & Doors after a co-worker referred them. When I contacted them, they asked for the home address and my phone number as they were going to have their salesmen give me a call to book an appointment. After about a week of not receiving a callback, I called them again. The lady who answered the phone was surprised that "Brad" had not called back. This company deserves 0 stars. My husband and I didnt get a chance to order the windows with them because I was turned off immediately by there service. What happen was I went to the store to obtain a quote and that went smooth with Cristian. Eventually there contractor Brad came out to measure all our windows and told us at our appt that he would get back to us with the price. Our appt was very quick and when I mentioned I wanted my bow window to be "deeper" he said it absolutely could NOT be done because the size of our wall. Well dont be fooled, always get a second opinion because

I placed an order for several windows for one of my buildings but they weren't able to deliver on time. When I called customer service to cancel, they gave me the run around. Had to contact my credit card company to get my deposit back. Was able to get my windows put in faster and cheaper by buying them at a big box store and hiring an independent installer.

This place is not worth the discounted prices. Windows are poorly constructed. Very unprofessional and disorganized. I've had to make 2 more trips simply because windows were either not ready, forgot to mold together or molded incorrectly. I was told my windows would be ready in 3 to 4 weeks. They were ready in 5 -1/2. I will never do business with this company again

Put in a bowed/bow window a number of years ago has had problems ever since with water etc and they never put a proper bottom to it either. Also I have a side window that keeps opening and two side windows that keep inching down have to make sure they are up constantly and not slipping, On the other hand have worked with Feldco a little after that . They were a bit more but no problems with them whatsoever. I don't know how they are now but they were good then, But Chrystal no stay away from them.

Don't get into business with these people, you will regret it over the long run. We had purchased our windows from them and called them to fix a broken pane. It took 6 weeks before they cut the replacement glass, and now they are saying they won't be able to install the replacement glass for at least 3 weeks - so figure 10 weeks to get the broken glass replaced. What a headache - don't bother.

July 2017: We ordered 5 more windows from Crystal on our new house in Indiana: a 5-panel casement, a 3-panel casement, a 1-panel casement, and two double hung windows. We ordered their top of the line windows with argon filled glass, and tinted. The 3 and 5 panel casement windows are a beast, made with excellent attention to detail. Maybe the people below ordered the cheap windows from Crystal. However, although we ordered their top of the line, the price beat out Anderson, Precision, Preferred, Clear Guard, and another Indiana company by far. So far we ordered 8 windows from this company

Stay far away ! Ordered 13 windows . When I met with the salesman William ... I was very clear with my request that i wanted my replacement windows (3rd floor ) to match the remaiding windiws in the building (1st and 2nd floor) . So William "assured " me that if i ordered the white windows , I would not be able to see the white vinyl .... because the window would be capped in brown (like the remainder of the building window) .

My parents bought windows from them about 10 years ago to replace some old windows. These are the worst pieces of garbage windows ever made. The frame of the windows fall apart and the lock mechanisms break after a couple of tries. After going to their office to get replacement parts the office staff was not very nice, I think they deal with complaints about their windows everyday and are sick of them, they probably make more money on replacement parts. Cheaply made windows ... I would stay away from these!
