The opportunity to buy and resell "overstocked" furniture presented itself as he was working to recover from the flood. A local warehouse for a national office furniture/supplies distributor was struggling to sell their overstocked inventory. Ken presented the opportunity to Laurie (his wife), she seized the opportunity and as they say, a business was born!
The original business was being rebuilt by Ken while Laurie worked on growing the office furniture business. We are happy to say that Ken's business is alive and well. Today, Laurie works with several distributors to keep OFO filled with high quality/low cost office furniture. OFO became a WBE (Woman Business Enterprise) in 2007!
