As a life-long resident of Pace Florida, I started this company from nothing but an old truck, a borrowed trailer, and a vision. Well, here we are years later. We have new trucks, a new office, and a great team of highly-trained fence installers. The gate to my fence was damaged during Hurricane Sally. In October, I contacted HighSteele to come out and give me an estimate for repairs to the gate and back portion of my fence. After paying a quote fee to get them out, I waited and waited for them to come as they had promised. I dropped by their offices in person and was told that they had… changed sales managers and that there never was a work order turned in for the work. The girl at the front desk committed to making that happen and getting someone out. A couple of weeks later, David, the new sales manager, came out to my house quoting

There are a lot of fence companies out there, and we count ourselves fortunate that we found HighSteele Fencing to replace our old fence. From the beginning, the communication from the owner was outstanding.… Our fence presented some challenges. One was building around landscape rocks. Usually I would do this via an email or letter to the company or management but I think there are several thing I would like people to know about High Steele Fence.
Of course I like many others lost most of my fence thanks to Hurricane Sally, but a wonderful neighbor was able to temporarily patch me back together. I notified my insurance and tried unsuccessfully to get a or any fence company out here to give me an estimate, crickets.... Actually the excuses were leave a message of the size fence you need, to it will be 6-8 weeks before we can get an estimator out there????

Had them come out for an estimate after Sally. He came out and was very personable, took measurements, and critiqued a sub-par fence that my neighbor had just had done, but when it came to actually having an estimate sent to us, it never happened. I called the office again over a week later (I get it fence companies are busy), and was told I’d have the estimate by the end of the day. Still no estimate and that was a month ago.

They did a good job with the fence however continued support for the customer is non existent. The fence was done a few months ago. I have three cracked pickets and the gate is not closing correctly. I called to schedule an appointment for repair. The did not call or show up. I had taken of work to be home. I called and was told the wrote down the… wrong day and would be there the next day. Another no call, no show. This has happened a total of four times. I have emailed the owner with no response. I called again and the woman told me she spoke to whoever was in charge and he was coming

DO NOT USE! Absolutely horrible service. I had to call several times just to get an estimate. And after receiving an estimate I still had to call several times to set a date. After having a date set they call the weekend before and set the date back a day. Then day of they call to renegotiate the price that was already signed off on by me and the owner, Chris. The price difference from what was first given and the new price was an increase of $1900. So glad we didn’t pay a deposit!

Needed a fence installed around our business they worked around the crazy hours of our business and employees and did a excellent job. They were fast, professional, and most of all my fence was very straight. I was very pleased when the job was done. They even did an excellent clean up after the job. I did not have to go behind them at all like most companies. Highly recommend if you need a fence company where you want the job done right the first time.
