Minnesota Exteriors was founded in 1947 by Marty Bennis, Sr. The Company was later managed by Marty Bennis, Jr. and his wife, Zenalou. The couple grew the Company for several decades until they turned the business over to their four sons - Greg, Jeff, Dan and Tom. The four brothers continue the family tradition, making Minnesota Exteriors a third-generation, family-owned company.

Just wanted to jump on here and say how fantastic MEI is. I’ve used them twice now, once for windows and now gutters. Both times I worked with Troy, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain the process. Especially with our windows, which he thoroughly explained the differences between one brand to the other we ended up with. He stayed within our budget and never tried to push us past it. He is a credit to your company. Next, the crew that came out worked efficiently, was extremely friendly, put out some extremely quality finished product, and cleaned after themselves thoroughly

We are extremely happy with our new siding, soffits and fascia -it all looks beautiful! The crew was very friendly and their attention to detail was amazing. Bob on the sales team was always up for any questions we threw at him and we had many. We think everyone should have a "Bob" in their life and wish he worked for every trade we may need in the future. Greg ,the project site supervisor ,was very thorough and did a complete walk around the house going over all the details before the crew began. I just ordered replacement windows in my third home from Troy. I chose MEI because of Troy and his recommendations. He is honest and trustworthy. If there is something he likes OR doesn't like about a product he's going to tell you. His first goal is to get you set up with the best product that fits your budget, not just to sell windows and get on to the next customer!

I'm very pleased with the recent roof replacement Minnesota Exteriors performed on my home this summer. The process was great from start to finish. Their Sales , Dan showed up to walk my property and take a look at existing conditions. When the estimate was completed, he provided me a very thorough walk through of all the costs. Steve and his crew were amazing. I couldn't believe how fast his crew was. The project was completed in 5 hours . The craftsmanship was very high level. I'm so happy I had Minnesota Exteriors replace my roof. I would highly recommend working with them.

I purchased a home with Wellington Windows already installed. I was having issues with one of the windows and called Minnesota Exteriors. I found out that the windows I have are no longer made. Minnesota Exteriors was unable to help me, but Cher was very helpful in giving me some suggestions. I will keep Minnesota Exteriors in mind for when my next remodel project comes around.

Not satisfied with MEI at all. Lack of communication between us and with
the workers. Several times did not return our calls. They installed four windows in June of 2020 the job was not completed until January of
2021. Used large finish nails on both window seat boards, which left a
very unprofessional looking job. the Lindsay window factory guy came out and replaced the skin on both seat boards and looked very good.
Our sales person has never called to see how the job was going or how
the job ended.

Brandon Collins was able to work with us in the sales phase to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. He was responsive and attentive to our many questions and ideas and the end result was fantastic.

Just had MEI finish my storm damage project. Roof, siding, windows and gutters. I spoke with each of the contractors that performed the work. Extremely professional and high quality work & materials. Brandon Collins was the sales representative and walked me thru the insurance process and was more than excellent. This is a local company and I was impressed how each employee I dealt with was so helpful. I have recommended MEI, which is family run to many friends and neighbors who have been very satisfied as well. I haven’t ever written a review but wanted to take the time to share my experience
