I would not recommend these people to anyone! The worker come to my house on a Monday and lied to me. He told me he replaced the valve on the heater and that wasn’t the problem that he had to order a gas hose that no place in Louisville had. Then he continued to tell me it cost $800 for this hose. Needless to say my fiancé was here when he finally arrived that following Friday and then continued to tell me it was a valve he had to order. I believe he lied to me because I was a woman and lied to my landlord to take advantage of us . Please read your reviews before you up and just hire anyone

I called elder to ask a question about a system they installed in my house last year and spoke with a technician who I like. I told him my heating bill was extraordinarily high in February and if he thought that could have anything to do with my new air system. He offered to “come out and take a look at it” so I said sure. He comes out and checks the system then tells me it will be 170+ dollars. If you’re offering an expensive service call don’t offer to come take a look at it like it won’t cost me anything. I’ve been happy with Elder but that wasn’t professional.

Professional, courteous and communicated exactly the status of our unit. As far as our service providers go - Elder ranks at the top.

This company saved my day! Thursday morning my AC went out, I called them and they were here in no time. The technician quickly recognized and fixed the problem and our AC was back to cooling. On what seem like the hottest day of the year and with a newborn at home it was much appreciated. I highly recommend them!

Affordable, prompt, thorough and patient. Tom was great. He explained to me what he was doing and my issue was with my AC. Elder Heating & AC was able to come service my AC almost immediately without a huge repair bill. I am grateful and satisfied. The staff in the office were equally as professional and friendly. The staff were friendly, professional, on time, and the owner even came over to go over things and make sure we were happy and ok with the decisions made. Very happy and would recommend this company to anyone. Obviously not the time to lose your air but they literally cams out the next day and redid our entire indoor and outdoor unit and replaced thermostat and reran some things to help with condensation. Thanks guys for your hard work. Very much appreciated during this hot summer.

Had them come look at our mini-split system. Lots of great information. Just so you know, you need to run these things all the time to keep down humidity. The guy who came out was very thorough and very informative. Will probably use them again when needed.

I was a customer of Elder Heating & Air for several years. The service technician was always fast and efficient. My problem is with the owner or whoever the decision maker is. That person decided they would not honor the warranty on the air conditioning compressor they had sold me and installed two years before. Not only wouldn't they honor the warranty on the 2 year old compressor the new compressor they wanted to sell me had to be ordered and couldn't installed for almost a week. This was during a hot spell during the summer and the temperature was 90 degrees or hotter. This was
