I recently moved to the area and wanted to use a local small business for my fence. Mike at Bedford Fence came out and did the quote and Larry was very responsive to my questions regarding getting the perimeter correct around my leach field. The installation crew did a beautiful job on my fence and the price was incredibly reasonable. The also were able to install 3 weeks sooner than they originally anticipated. I would definitely use them again!

It's really a shame I have to give a negative review. A few years back we had a small privacy fence installed down the side of the driveway. No issues whatsoever getting a quote, getting the work done, etc. The installers were great and very professional. Now fast forward - we wanted a gate installed in our driveway and a fence with man gate installed on other side of house. Gentleman came out - took measures, pictures, etc and said give me a few days to give you a price. 3 weeks later still no price so we called again and he said I have to come out to take measurements - wth????? So

We had Bedford install 5 6-ft tall posts when they installed a new fence at our neighbor's house last month. Alas, their interpretation of our very simple layout plan to accommodate 4 8-ft sections was not exactly the same as ours, which complicated the building of our fence when we managed to get to it recently. They did a nice job for our neighbors -- us, not so much.

I found Bedford Fence when driving from Ann Arbor to Toledo. I called them and was able to get Larry to come out and give a quote. His willingness, given the distance was appreciated. It was a large project, ~600 linear feet. The cost was very reasonable, particularly in comparison to other quotes from the area. They completed the work very quickly, 2 days, and the quality was great. Of note it was the little things I appreciated them keeping me in the loop given some delays from the national wide lumber shortage, to picking up the flags that were left in the front yard placed by MI dig prior to

I called this company to see about getting some fence installed to complete the enclosure of our back yard. They informed me when I called approx March 25th that it might be about 2 weeks until someone could come measure. No problem. Someone called to come measure the next day! Very pleased. It has now been a month with no response or quote, I have called back to them several times with no answer or call back despite messages. Poor customer service.

I called Bedford Fence on Monday 3/22/2021. Someone took my name, address, phone number, asked what I was in the market for. I only need a gate on the one side. I bought the home last summer and it already had a split rail fence all around it. The guy said he'd call me right back. Wed 3/24/2021, I left a message.
As of 3/29/2021, I'm still waiting on a call back. If you don't want the job, tell me that. I think that is poor customer service just ignoring a would be paying customer.

I just had this company install my fence in July. They started out really nice till I paid them their money. After the received my money, they rarely returned my calls and rescheduled my start date a week and a half later then scheduled. But for the price I paid I couldn't really complain. The installers were really nice and professional, so nice my neighbors asked for some quotes. They measured their lots and said they would get back to them with in a few days. Well it's been 7 weeks and still they still haven't heard from them. Also my neighbors asked me to get a quote for them
