We had Seahorse build our pool a few years back. Honestly, the original build turned out fine. However, good luck getting any help if something should go wrong. We've needed something serviced/fixed a couple of times and every time it has been a hassle to get help. Most recently, we were having electrical issues with our heater and lights. I tried multiple times over 3 weeks via both phone and email to get a call back. Nothing. Over 6 weeks later, I finally get a return call. We'd already moved on. Reached out to another company, problem solved within a day. If I were to start over today on a pool

Highly highly recommend Seahorse Pools for all you pool needs and services. I have worked with Steve for a few months now and he has been nothing but responsive, knowledgeable, professional and extremely helpful. I am new to having a pool and just moved into a house with a pool, so I inevitably have a lot of questions for him. He is always quick to respond to any question I have (small or big) with detailed information. I have contacted this business 3 times and of those calls, I spoke with someone twice. I provided my name and number and expressed our interest in wanting a custom pool built at our home. To this day, several weeks later, no one has ever reached out to me. If Sea Horse Pool have such poor customer service or follow up skills then I can only imagine their whole operation may be just as bad.

We chose to replace our pool decking, resurface the pool & add a water feature to it. I couldn't be happier with the final product. What made the difference w/this project were the folks I worked with @ Seahorse Pools to get it done. Steve was very knowledgeable & accomodating during the design & proposal proces...his suggestions & advice proved to be 100% spot on. Seahorse Pools built our pool 30 years ago for the original home owner. Summer of 2019, we did a major overhaul, new liner and new deck. Carter and Rocky were great to work with. They actually found the specs from the original build. The quality of work was excellent.
A complaint I see in the reviews are actually referring to how BUSY they are. I would not hire a pool company that wasn't busy! If you wait till the season begins, you have to be patient. The Texas heat makes any good pool company as busy as possible.
I highly recommend Seahorse Pools. Just watch the calendar when you hire them

We have been customers since we bought this house from foreclosure three years ago. I mention foreclosure because the pool was an absolute mess. They cleaned and repaired the damaged vinyl liner, installed new salt cell with automation, and ensured the pool was swim ready. We were completely impressed with the product.

We are incredibly happy with the work that Seahorse Pools and Spas did for us. We had a renovation done on an older pool and added a large spa with water features. We also added a covered patio and new outdoor kitchen. After that we had them pour a new RV stand and large gate. Ken and Wes were great. We had been frustrated with other pool companies who did not return our call, but Ken was always prompt and professional. My initial impression of this company was positive. We had received a recommendation from a longtime friend of my wife that used them to build a pool. When I called, I was told by the salesperson that she would need to get approval from the company owner to give us a quote due to the distance from their location to our home. I told her that was understandable and I waited for a return call. She did call me back and said she was give the ok.
