The Moving Crew

We got an estimate for moving from this company and chose them from three others to complete our move .
We were promised a full crew to complete our project in five hours ,they showed up with two movers at 8:30 am and did not finish until 1:30 the following morning , with only 18 miles between homes . In the process they put a gouge in our stair landing area , broke the leg of any antique table ,put two dents in our freezer and a huge grease stain on our king size mattress .The next day we had to hire two men to complete the project for an additional $250 .

I had a wonderful experience with this company! Andy confirmed the date and helped prepare me for the move to make the day go smooth, he is extremely professional and has a great sense of humor! Straightforward and respectful communication from everyone, friendly and hardworking movers on the day of the move (thank you Travis and Brian!!!). They took great care with my belongings. They were funny and took stress out of what can be a stressful day. I'm also impressed with Travis' driving skills with that big moving van in a tricky driveway!! Thank you Moving Crew!!!!

These movers made a huge difference for me in my recent move. So courteous, helpful, and prompt. They also did the job SO fast. It was awesome not having to spend the entire day moving, especially since I had to move stuff from storage and an apt. Really appreciated all the nice extra things they did to help and the overall expertise they offered. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice and friendly, owner Pat is the one that set up the appt. three hour minimum $140 an hour. Wasn't to bad price wise. But will charge for time before and after arriving 15 mins out each way. I didn't know about that and they adjusted the price for me. Overall not a bad experience! I would use them again. :)

Highly recommend this company; honest, friendly, free estimate on time and efficient.
I called around and they were reasonable and did not require a Large deposit and large min hours.
Our job was not a large one only needed large house items to be moved down stairs and placed in a 16' POD with everything else. The estimator was spot on, said it would most likely not all fit in the POD and he was correct...listen TO THEM! The great thing was we were able to plan and prioritize and have a back up plan for the overflow. This saved us time and stress. The quote was again spot on, onlrequired

I highly recommend this company. We were impressed from the first time Garrett showed up for an estimate. He was on time and the bid was competitive and honest. Before contacting Garrett, we called several moving companies for bids and details. Since ours is a cross state move, most companies wanted two days, but Garrett said no problem with one day move, which won us over. Sam, Chris, and Bradley moved our household yesterday and I can't say enough about the wonderful job they did. Moving is a stressful time and these guys definitely reduced our stress. Damon came to the house a couple weeks ago to give an estimate. We set a date, and everything went smoothly and as promised. They were careful with our stuff, wrapping and strapping furniture thoroughly. Fridge needed doors taken off and they handled it easily. They got it all in one load, just as Damon promised. I want to first start out saying. There was a small problem and I contacted the company. Which I have met all owners since the beginning to end. In a move that I hadn't done in almost 20yrs is stressful. I need to say it is so important to understand for professional moves and small business owners. It is as well for them. OUTSTANDING!! friendly, good communication & followed thru as promised in every way. excellent personal service, we only had a piano to move and Garrett worked it out to take care of us without over booking (and paying!) a full move appointment, just perfectly popped us in! thank you so much - and we're loving having the piano here, guys!

I used Garrett and his team to move from Folsom to Reno. I was very impressed from the start. Garrett was communicative and transparent on the bid and how it was structured. He listened to my needs and put together something that worked exactly for me.

On moving day, his crew showed up promptly on time and were well prepared. The entire crew hustled all day, always on the move, running instead of walking, you get the picture... They were also very careful with our goods and took care not to damage anything.

I highly recommend The Moving Crew. The estimate is very competitive, the actual move was painless. They have a group of young movers so the move was quick. They told me exactly what they will be doing like they will need two trucks to fit all the stuff from the house. They move us from Reno, NV to California. They were courteous, efficient, and professional all the way in the move. All furnitures were wrapped in protective coverings and nothing was broken. I ask for them to move one of the cars. They drove this car and it was there when we arrive at our destination. The car move fee was very reasonable

Andy the owner met me at my house to give me a free estimate in advance. He was very friendly, professional, and honest. I liked him immediately and knew this was a company I wanted to give my business to. Our move was from Grass Valley to Roseville and we knew we wanted to get a moving company instead of dealing with the U-Haul and heavy lifting ourselves.

The movers arrived on time and got the job done properly. Garret and Juan were efficient, friendly, all while being careful with my stuff.

There is a reason these guys are 5 stars. We just had them spend two days moving part of the load to Midtown Sac and the rest to self storage. These guys are careful, hard workers and seem to enjoy what they do.

I contacted The Moving Crew last Monday with a request to move items from a storage facility in Auburn into a Matson container that is going overseas.. I needed the move done on May 23, we agreed, booked it, and I paid a $200 deposit.

The online receipt from them did not include the date of service, maybe that should have been my first clue.

The good stuff: the three man crew arrived promptly at 9am as scheduled. They were very professional and displayed a great attitude.

The Bad: we had set this move up about two weeks prior. I received a call the day before to confirm. They thought it was a move in - instead of a move out. We clearly told them that when we set up the reservation. The 3 men who arrived were told it was a move in and weren't really prepared.

The job was estimated to take 3 hours - it took over 6. They did a great job packing and wrapping - too good - because it added hours to the bill. We had a abs truck

Long distance moves are not fun and you should definitely go with a professionals if you can! My husband and I highly recommend The Moving Crew- they were the best moving company we have ever used. I have moved 6 times in the last 7 years and this has definitely been the easiest, most hassle free experience.
