I recently contracted with Auburn Moving & Storage for a long-distance move from Lincoln, CA to Virginia. Auburn Moving & Storage is an agent for the long distant moving company, Bekins. I gave them the loading date, but they gave me the date range for delivery. I was flexible on the delivery, so I didn't request a certain date. The range they gave me was between 11/5 and 11/20. 11/20 was their chosen drop-dead date. I was told this date was set by Bekins. The loading day went very well on 10/28. The friendly and honest conversation from Kelli, the office Manager was the first indication of my eventual good choice in my upcoming potentially stressful moving experience. Oh, the prep and packing was stressful! However, once my movers Keeler and Franco showed up and proceeded to take care of all my life's belongings as if they were their own, well, I was relieved and relaxed. Just partially, this was an important move.

I found Auburn Moving & Storage on Yelp back in March of 2021. I was in contact with Carrie and she held my hand all through the process via phone, email, and text. They are excellent in providing information and their price is way too low for the excellent service they provide. My husband and I moved from San Francisco after selling our multi unit house to their storage facility in Roseville, CA. Our life possessions were in their storage facility for 3 months. When we purchased our new home in Lincoln, CA, they moved everything from storage to Lincoln, CA. Everything went smoothly

Auburn Moving and Storage was recommended to us by my sister who had a great experience. We found them to be very fair from the original bidding process and concluding in the move. The crew we had today was Mike, Joe, and Alec. They arrived on time and really worked diligently, safely, and thoroughly. You can see that customer service was ingrained in everything they did for us. They did a real nice job padding and packing pictures, mirrors, and the television. I would highly recommend this company to anybody needing a mover.

This place was amazing. My fiancé and I moved from Sacramento to Reno and they were able to help. The day of our move, Jamel (sorry to him if I misspelled his name) and Jared showed up and were beyond helpful. Took care of everything we asked for. The next day, the borough our stuff to Reno early and we're in and out within a couple hours. These two made the whole experience painless and easy. Would recommend them to anyone looking for movers.

CROOKS!!! CROOKS!!! CROOKS!!! FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!! They destroyed my husbands desk, my sewing table, bookcase, my daughter's desk, my other daughter's bed post, lost several missing parts to several items. I know when you move, things are going to get messed up, that's why I didn't make a big deal about it or a claim for everything they broke. My husband and I said no big deal, we can fix it...don't worry about it. I filled out the claim forms with pictures and showing that I just purchased the desk less than 6 months ago for over $700.00, all of the claimed items

I chose Auburn moving based on Yelp reviews & they customized a quote to fit my budget. Throughout the process they were professional & accommodating. The quote was fair based on what I wanted done.
They checked in the day before moving day to make sure we were a go.
Jamell, Larry & the new guy showed up on time & called while in transit.
They worked hard & took care of my stuff.
I hope to never move again but would reccomend them to anyone. No fine print or shenanigans, just honest hard work.

So glad we chose this company for our move from Vacaville to Auburn! It was faster than anticipated and went smoothly without any hiccups. Everyone on the crew knew what they were doing and worked as a team to get the job done. All in, the entire day including travel and lunch was only seven hours! Furniture was disassembled, wrapped securely, then reassembled quickly and items placed where we wanted them...they even asked if we wanted anything repositioned before they left! I can't say enough about our movers!!! Larry, Alex, Spartacus and Scott were the most amazing team to help us on our moving day! They were so fast and efficient, while still being very careful and respectful. Not only did they pack and move our entire house, they also watched our dogs and made sure they didn't get out while the door was open and they were going in and out moving stuff. they were so patient with us being indecisive on where we wanted things and what needed to go and stay. they were so professional and kind the entire time and i know we can be a lot to deal with. we want

We moved from Sutter Creek to Sacramento last week and used Auburn Moving and Storage. The movers they sent were Spartacus and Romance. They were fantastic. The price was very reasonable and the guys knew what they were doing. They made quick work of it without cutting corners on doing it right. Both of the guys were great. I would define use them again......if we ever moved.

Alex and his friend came at 8am and moved everything from our apartment to our new house so fast that it made it much easier on my wife and I which we really appreciated. This was the third time we have moved using Auburn Moving and Storage and I have to say, I wouldn't use anyone else. Spartacus, Argyll, and Scott emptied two of our storage units and delivered the contents to our home and put them exactly where we wanted them. The guys were professional, kind and so patient. Had a great experience with this company on a very small moving job. The 2 young men, Larry and Johnell were quick, organized and efficient. They got the job done in exactly time I thought it would take and were patient with me as I sorted out where to place things. I will use their services again next time I move.

The people in the office were easy to deal with for scheduling. I can't say enough about the guys that moved our stuff. Very professional, courteous, careful, and these guys really hustled yet took great care to not damage our belongings or our house. We went with Auburn Moving and Storage for our second of two moves. For the first one, we went with their competitor, Ernie's (see my review for that experience).
This experience was superior because there were four people on the crew, and lots of storage space so they got every single item (versus not being able to fit everything and having a three-person crew take 14 hours to do the job, as with Ernie's.) The crew worked hard and were professional and careful. Everything was reassembled correctly.
The only unpleasantness came at the end. The estimator had clearly written "

5 rating. Rob at Auburn moving company generously donated his employee, the truck, the gas, and their time on a Sat. This was all to support our donation drive. They helped us fill up an entire truck full of donations and drove it to victims in the Paradise Fire. We could not have done it without their help.
