We needed 220feet of redwood and 180feet of chain link fencing with snake wire replaced. We received 5 estimates ranging from independent to a couple large companies.
After meeting with John and his son we knew we wanted to go with him. He communicated easily and was a straight shooter. He doesn't over promise, he does what he says he will do. He explained what needed to be done and how they would do it. He noted issues that no one else called out and could have been real problem. He spent time going over our project and explained things that we never thought about. He showed up on time daily

John did such a wonderful job on our fence and our gates. He also built a privacy fence around our pool equipment and installed our new mailbox. Everything was done quickly, beautifully and without any hassle whatsoever. We love our yard because of how beautiful our fence and gates look. Our mailbox was installed correctly, as well. We would definitely recommend John to anyone and already have given his name to many of our neighbors and family members.

John was great. He and his son worked tirelessly to complete a large fence project and gate installation on our 5 acres. Communication was easy and prompt. Unprofessional and blew off scheduling commitments. No communication with no shows. Conversation was too personal with comments to other contractors onsite. Ultimately we terminated his employment with only partial completion. He then harrassed us by text and threatened us with cashing our check without completing work. We posted stop payment on check and then were scared to let him return to pick up tools and left over materials which he left at our house. More unprofessional commentary followed on our cell phones till we blocked his contact. Would not recommend him to anyone.

John at Fenceprosplus did an outstanding job. He was quick and straight to the point, which is exactly what I needed since I've been doing a ton of renovations on my house and am over it. Not to mention he is funny as hell and reminds me of Vince Vaughn. I would recommend him for any job big or small.

We just bought a home on four acres which was only partially fenced.
John came out right away and walked the property discussing pros and cons of different locations to cross fence. Two eight foot gates and over six hundred feet of 5 foot chain link with top rail. Done quickly and professionally to our satisfaction. What more can you ask of a company? Gratzi.

John did a great job helping us figure out what kind of fence, where on our property, and then building a great fence with multiple gates across a property that has high and lows (flats and hills, through orchards). We are very happy with his work and our new fence.

After a recent rainstorm our fence fell down between the neighbors and ours. We had several quotes from various companies who insisted that we had to replace the entire fence. John came in and pointed out that only our posts were totally rotten and the rest of the fence was in good condition (we had recently replaced a few Pickets and couldn't understand why the other companies couldn't use them again) and did not have to be replaced.
John replied very fast to my initial call, came over gave us a quote in person

John just completed a lodge pole 3-rail fence with chain link surrounding our 3-acre property in Rancho Santa Fe. His bid was fair, reasonable, and based upon a linear price per foot. This easy to understand approach to pricing, acknowledging the inevitable "change orders" that occur during the design and build process, made complete sense and kept everyone happy during the job. John started the job on time and worked every day with no gaps until finished. Quality control was excellent!

Beware company doesn't accept credit cards makes you wonder if they are a legit business, I work for one one the biggest company in the world and I'm in charge of multiple facilities in So Cal so when I can, I try to give local businesses work. I called "fence pros" and asked if I could get a quote on a repair a lady answered her phone with zero knowledge of what her job description is took my info and said her husband would call me back that he was out washing something down. Before I hung up I asked if they accepted AMEX (Because from experience not all businesses accept

John, owner and operator was great. I got 3 quotes for work to be done and Fence Pros Plus was the cheapest while also getting more expensive redwood with picture frame. (Lowe's was $1000 more expensive for their cheapest option, dog eared cedar with pressure treated posts).

After my 2nd quote and original company fell through, My wife and I left messages with a few companies to continue our search. John called and left a voicemail and once I returned his call, quick to come out and provide his own quote.

John did an amazing and creative job of repairing our large picket fence that had been very poorly constructed by another builder. Thanks to John's excellent carpentry skills and unique design ideas, we now have a very sturdy and attractive fence. John was the ONLY builder who happily tackled our challenging project. None of the major San Diego fence builders could even be bothered to come out. John is skilled, detailed, honest, friendly and very fair in his pricing. Listen to his advice and your fence or construction project will be done right!!
