Services
With nearly 50 years of experience in the paving industry, we can accommodate all of your paving requirements. Our paving capabilities include driveways, roadways, parking lots, asphalt restorations by cold plane or reclaim, inlay, overlay, sidewalks, patch, and asphalt curbing. The proposed paved area is subgraded to meet required grades.
As a licensed septic system installer, we have installed many different system designs ranging from small 2 bedroom systems to large industrial systems. Along with our in field experience, we continuously keep up with new environmentally friendly systems and new groundwater treatment standards. From new sewer lines to replacing 100 year old existing sewer lines, we have the experience and knowledge to accommodate any sewer requirement.
Working closely with local water departments, we have installed a wide variety of water systems. Our capabilities include live tap connections, domestic services, fire services, hydrant installs, cistern tanks, new main installations, main replacements and repairs. We are always available for any type of residential or commercial emergency water line repair, 24 hours a day.
We have installed a wide variety of these drainage systems from small leaching catch basins to large underground management systems. In the residential market, professional engineering services to assist with drainage issues are typically not in place. In these situations we develop in-house plans, detailing a proposed remedy to allow for proper drainage solutions.

An update to this review. I have recently chatted with the owner of the company. He reached out, not to get me to change the review, but rather to explain the circumstances. I will not get into the actual circumstances here but suffice it to say I was satisfied with his explanation.
I have always been a firm believer that everyone makes mistakes. I try not to judge a company or person by the mistake, but rather by how they handle them. The owner handled it well which is good because the reason why I initially called him was because of many recommendations

Don't hire anyone else. These guys do not cut any corners, their workmanship and professionalism are top notch. Most other companies wanted to go 4" with the gravel base , others wanted to just scrape off the old asphalt and lay new stuff down, HP&E went 10" with the gravel , removed all large rocks that would have caused frost heaves and took out a massive stump that no other company recommended. If left, it would have rotted and sank the new driveway. The water runs off as it should and so far no puddles or ponding. I would give 6 stars if I could. Norm Pelletier was great in understanding the grading changes I wanted in order to have my driveway drain properly. Furthermore, he dealt directly with the permitting officials in my town and in the process, saved me thousands of dollars by negotiating for a less costly roadway drainage solution. Hudson Paving has the heavy equipment to pull huge boulders and tree stumps and the light equipment to produce a perfectly smooth and even surface. Shane and his crews are amazing. We have had problems with water and ice at the base of our driveway for the pat 11 years. We reached out for paving and excavation companies that had experience with domestic culverts. When I started reading reviews for Hudson paving and excavation I was really impressed how everyone noted their customer service. I am thrilled with Hudson Paving and the job they did on my driveway. They walked me through the whole process of the excavation and laying the new driveway. The entire crew was friendly and happily interacted with my 2 year old while we watched them work all day long. A big shout out to Charlie for showing my daughter the inside of backhoe! Our septic leach field was in failure. It was an incredibly stressful time, thinking everything could back up into our house at any minute. Even worse, it was late in the season and the ground was freezing. Shane and his crew replaced our leach field in a matter of days! They were professional, accommodating, and incredibly efficient. Not only did they improve our system with extra sand, but they kept us sane during the process with their fantastic customer service! Shane and his team are extremely friendly and, more importantly, honest. Had had some trees cut down and stumps grinded. However, the resulting area of our backyard was not what I envisioned once the trees were down. So I called a few places and decided on Hudson Paving and Excavation due to the great vibe I got from Shane.
They leveled a hill, and grated the area so that we now, once we loom and plant seed, will have a very usable back yard. Will definitely use them again, and recommend them to every one we know.
