DEB Construction, LLC. was founded in 1975 in Anaheim, California by Yakub "Jake" Vali, a structural engineer, and his two partners, a designer and a builder. Together, these three partners established the DNA of our company, as well as our name: Designer, Engineer, Builder. DEB Construction started out completing small residential and commercial jobs.
At DEB Construction, we believe the best way to ensure accountability is to have our Project Managers own our projects from concept to closeout. When we are approached by a client with a project or a specific challenge they may have, the needs are assessed, reviewed, and assigned to a Project Manager and Project Engineer team.
At DEB Construction, we strive to foster a high-performance, collaborative working environment where open communication among all staff is encouraged. I worked 2yr-7months at DEB as a project engineer and I had never worked at a place with so much diverse of great people, I learned so much from my assigned project managers and nothing but positive attitudes and knowledge. I will forever be greatful with DEB for the opportunity. Great place to work in you will learn a lot and feel like family.

I am writing today to report a lack of transparency in the interview process at DEB Construction, LLC. I was seeking a position in the human resources department. I was very much under the strong assumption that I was the appropriate candidate for this position (the Human Resources Manager, Jean Lee, even stated to me in-person that if the decision were up to her, then I would be hired!), or, at the very least, I would be afforded a reasonable opportunity for a second-round interview with the Vice President to explain what I have accomplished in my professional career as a Human Resources (HR)
