Not responsive. My husband called to have our fireplace serviced. It took a week to call us back. My husband had missed the called. He called back later that day. Another week and no response back from them. I can understand it being winter and it being busy but it should not take that long to get in touch to schedule a service.

I purchased a pellet stove from the Bel Air location in March. My second in 5 years. Great sales experience. It all fell apart when I had to pick it up from this Forest Hill location. First, Calvin calls and insists I pick it up ASAP. Sales rep said I could wait 60 days. Calvin calls 2 more times before I finally pick it up. Zero customer service from him on any call. Rude and abrupt each time. I went to pick it up and no one even acknowledges you when you walk in. I stood at the desk for 10 seconds and nothing. Finally, I say hello. They tell me to go around back, where I sat in my car for 15

We had our gas fireplace cleaned by them and it was a great experience. They were on time, and fixed our fireplace just by servicing it. Our technician was super nice, clean, and knowledgeable. He went the extra step to clean it, service it and make it safe for our family. We will definitely be using them again.

BEWARE...this company is REALLY good at selling you systems for thousands of dollars...but if you need any help with installation, good luck. 100% our fault, we should have used them to do the install...but after we called several times and admitted we made a mistake, they had 3 different guys come out to finally do the install (all pre paid by the way) everytime they come out, they have a different story as to why they cant...even after you call back 100 times to ensure that the next crew will be ready...and can actually install..the bottom line is they all walk away...great products, bad company

I am extremely disappointed in the service I have received from Ace Hardware. Everyone has been great except the follow up and attitude I have gotten from Mary who works at the Foresthill location. I ordered a fireplace insert from the Fallston location where everyone was great. The gentleman who came out to get measurements was a pleasure. Even after he came iut and said that he measured it wrong I was ok with it because he was so polite and apologetic. He said they would get back to me within a day or two with the new cost and installation date. I have waited for 2 weeks and have gotten no response

We called for repair of our existing indoor fireplace. Initially we did not receive a call for one week after leaving message. When I called again, I was told that they are busy serving their regular customers and that I will have to be on wait list. They did not give any appointment and said that it could take month to two months. They appeared to not care if you are not regular customer. If you are not a regular customer of this company, do not bother to call them, as they do not want you as a customer.

I have called numerous times and can get no one on the line. This went on for weeks. When I finally had a real person on line he said he would get back to me. He never did call me back. The reason for the call, I just spent $6000 for a propane fireplace and I needed someone out here to check it out. Finally when I did get through (angry that it took weeks before I could get a response) the person told me he looked at the speck sheet (No one came out) and everything was installed correctly. My question is HOW WOULD HE KNOW. When I had gptten annoyed with his run around I got angrier. Then he said

I purchased a Quadra Fire Castile pellet stove today. I was setup with everything I needed to get it running and up to code. I got it loaded up and got it home and burning in a few hours. Calvin and the crew did a great service for me and would highly recommend a future purchase. Just to note, I removed the carpet from the concrete floor and have purchased tile to do the entire room once the spring comes and will run the thermostat wire correctly at that time as well.

Contacted Courtland about an odor coming from our gas stove. The stove is 5 years old and serviced by Courtland every year. The smell is obvious. We had to wait 2 and half weeks for someone to check it out. The repair man came and said he did not smell anything! My friends came and they could smell it! He cleaned and took it apart but said he found nothing. The house still smells and it is coming from the stove.

We remodeled out basement and added a new freestanding gas stove. Mike Demarest helped us decide on the best solution for us. They understood that we had to complete our floor before they could come install. The installation team came out and did a wonderful job. A very professional team all the way around and I would recommend them if you are looking to add a new stove whether it be a pellet or gas stove.
