In 1904, Frank "Pappy" Fischer started his own hot water and steam heating business. He worked out of his home in South St. Louis. Pappy had the material delivered directly to the job and took the streetcar with his tools.

My heat was running cold they came out twice first time paid them 75$ was out here less than 30 minutes with a diagnostic and fix. Within an hour running cold again. Call back next tech wants an additional $75 diagnostic no sir. He tells me he’s on time and a half regular business hours or Monday Through Friday blah blah blah . No sir one of your… co workers just left here not two hours ago I’m not paying time and a half or waiting until regular business hours on Monday. So he says you’ll have to pay ok I’m fine with that. So he comes out there for hour and a half

I have used Design Aire several times. The office staff is very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. The same goes with the technicians. Yesterday Josh was here to service the furnace. He was prompt and thorough. Luckily the furnace was operating properly. I feel like this company is honest in their evaluations and will continue to use them.

I don’t usually take the time to leave reviews but I was so happy with my service from Patrick! I called on a Friday morning and had a visit by Friday afternoon. We needed a new motor for one of the furnaces, and while Patrick waited for it to be delivered from the shop he cleaned and tuned both furnaces as a courtesy. Very professional, great service. We also had our other furnace replaced and the team was very knowledgeable and had my new furnace installed and working perfectly in a little over three hours. I had an issue where my electric pilot light decided not to work. I called Design Aire at 9:45 am and they were at my door within a few hours. The technician Josh S, was great. He was able to fix my issue within minutes and I had heat in no time. The repair cost was less than I expected. The whole experience was pleasant and without any issues. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
