Services
The Western Fire Protection's in house design team has experience with all types of projects. Our design staff keeps up to date with ongoing American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) training. With our accredited National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) level designers, and with a registered fire protection engineer available we can provide our customers with the most up to date technology and knowledge.
Each sprinkler head works independently from the others and is activated by a heat only sensitive mechanism. Only the sprinkler over the fire will activate. Should the fire continue to spread, then and only then will another sprinkler activate. In most home fires, only one or two sprinklers are actually triggered.
