GDM did alot of slate work at my house approx 6 yrs ago and it came out ok...
Until about 2 years when i noticed some panels were falling off the house....
Tried calling and voicemail to resolve issue... no repsonse until i posted pics...
To his credit the issue has been resolved but no telling if and when other pieces will come loose...

We tried to get a project bid from Greg Dodd Masonry after coming to our home and reviewing our plans. When we had difficulty deciding on our colors (2500+ square feet of pavers, stack stone, concrete, seating walls, pilasters, fireplace, two water features, and BBQ plus lighting, landscaping, irrigation, electrical etc), Greg Dodd's solution was to send his friend/associate TG at $75/hr to work with us. After paying TG $600, we got nothing credible plus incorrect information. Now after 6 weeks, Greg flaked out and failed to call or meet with us. We had requested multiple times, but Greg

Horrendous. Complete waste of my time. Came out , discussed the Project, promised an estimate following Monday. Nothing. Called and left message on Tuesday, nothing. Left a message Wednesday, nothing. Now Onemy Week later, no response, no communication at all. Not even the courtesy of a return call. I'm not desperate, I'll give my money to a professional.

It is rare nowadays to find an honest contractor whose prices are reasonable. Greg Dodd is just that and more. Greg is reliable and he listens to his clients. My wife and I couldn't be happier with Greg and his crew. Greg made us a beautiful custom fireplace. We were so taken by Greg and his professionalism, we hired him for a second job, a custom pergola. Once again his work was beautiful and his crew respectful and professional. Greg treats his clients like family, We just hired him for a third job, our front walkway. I cannot recommend Greg Dodd more if you need masonary services.

I was given Greg's contact info from an insurance company, but because there was no insurance claim, I was able to work directly with him to repair a block wall that was literally leaning over and was a potential liability due to our home backing a school. Greg came as promised to give us a quote. After getting a couple of quotes he won our business with both his professionalism and his easy-going personality. I unfortunately I can say I am not pleased with Greg's work. Initially his work looked beautiful, but after several months his work is not holding up to the test of time. We have had nothing but problems since he completed the job, drains backing up and another drain on the back of the yard that is set to high, even though they assured me it was not. Now the biggest issue is the sand. I will post a few pictures of what my pool looks like after rain and wind. If I wanted to live at the beach I would have moved to the beach, not to mention the issues it is causing with our filtration system

Greg and has team did an awesome job of remodeling our fireplace for us. From our first contact with Greg through the job's completion, Greg was professional, responded quickly to our calls/emails, listened to our wants, and did what he said he would. His price was very competitive, the quality of the work was excellent and he completed the project on time.
