After scheduling an estimate for a new fence in March, I received a quote for the wrong type of fencing. After going back and forth with the inept salesman explaining again and again the exact fence I wanted I finally received the correct quote. I paid the deposit and the install was scheduled for the first week of August. After not hearing a word for 4 months, I called and asked if my install was still on time. It was not, and the fence would be installed 3 weeks later than originally scheduled. I waited another 2 1/2 weeks without any contact and called to check on the timeline, and I was not

If I could give zero stars, I would...
We contracted to have an open slat fence for a solid fence to isolate our condo deck from our neighbor's to avoid their smoking, and provide more privacy... and we made a deposit...
The job was done, but they left an open hole and an open slat: see photos... We refused to pay the remaining portion of their bill until they repaired the deficiencies... They refused despite our complaint to the BBB... They threatened court action if we didn't pay... We will take care of the problem ourselves, but we wanted to post the deficiencies...

I'm upset with Hastie Fence right now. Over the years I have bought TWO fences from them to enclose my back yard. When the first one was at the end of its life span I bought the second one with out even getting other quotes.
The last wind storm broke off ONE of my posts (it's a good fence) I called to have it repaired. I was told politely they aren't doing repair work till the fall (5 months). They are to backed up with new jobs due to covid. NO exceptions.
I asked if I could buy a post. No they barely have enough for the new jobs.
How about a little appreciation for past customers !

All around great service. Harry came out to give us a fair estimate within 2 days of us reaching out. Even with the delays due to COVID they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the finished product - office staff was friendly and informative and kept us up to date with the timeline of our project. Our fence looks great and the men installing it couldn't have been better. They came out and worked a full day on Christmas Eve to make sure our fence install was finished - much appreciated! Hard working and friendly staff - highly recommended.

I knew that fencing was in high demand with everyone doing home repairs during Covid, so I didn't complain about the 2 weeks it took to get the estimator out, the 2 weeks to get the estimate back to me, or even the 12 week timeline from deposit to when my fence would be installed. But now I know why they are taking so long- never have I had a lazier crew of workers at my house. On the second day of install I was working in my kitchen, overlooking the back yard where the install was happening, so I am not exaggerating when I say the installers worked no more than an hour at a time before taking

We are VERY happy with our fence. It highlights our house greatly and provides us with the privacy we were looking for, and safety for our dogs.
We did have to wait 4 months to get it installed. We got our estimate and put our deposit down in early June and fence started going in the 3rd week of October. They did, however, tell us up front that this has been the busiest they've ever been in 20 years and that they are often waiting on their fence suppler, and that they have multiple crews all over western MA working. Everyone seems to be making home renovations during COVID-19.
