Very responsive and professional. We chose them because their prep included repairs for damaged/dry rot woodwork and other companies exclude that. They gave us locations of painting jobs they had completed and also references to call for recommendations. They were on time, professional, thorough, and stayed to complete touch-ups to our satisfaction. We had our front door insert replaced after the house was painted and they agreed to return to paint the new door after it was installed. The project manager was very proactive in arranging the follow-up and the finished job looks great. Highly recommend

JK Paint submitted a competitive bid - not the lowest and not the highest. They were on time, polite, paid attention to details and asked questions when they needed guidance. We are quite happy with the job they did for us. We have rounded corners and had three different paint colors, they did a great job cutting in the corners. We also had them spray paint a barn door and they took it to their shop and did a nice job on it.

JK Paint was very responsive to our request for a quote to repaint our home exterior. Davis came out for the initial walk around the property, listen to what we intended to do, and he gave us an overview of the process. He was very thorough, clear, and answered all our questions. He followed up with a detailed quote and included references we could contact. We did call a few and all were very positive. The project started on time with Hector and his crew. I have a very tall house. Like you need to be Spider-man or the Last Son of Krypton to feel comfortable getting on the roof, let alone painting it. JK came out, had an extremely competitive bid, used excellent materials, had professional workers and did a great job. They not only painted, but replaced old caulking and resealed windows and seems.
When they were done, they had to let the front door dry and took the weather sealing off the door jam. I thought I was going to replace it, but they showed up the next day and put the sealing back! The house is now protected and looks as good as new. Thank

We just had our house resided and painted by JK and they did a fantastic job. The siding was done a lot faster than expected and looked great. We had a small issue with an outlet being installed upside down but I called the project manager and he quickly resolved the issue. They are very quick about responding to any requests. The painting crew… came out and did a fantastic job. The project manage Carlos walked us through the job after finishing and had us look for any spots that need touched up, but he was really finding most of the spots and had everything looking perfect before they were

We had the entire interior painted & drywall and ceilings repaired due to a prior plumbing leak. The crew averaged 5 workers over six days including a Saturday. Many man hours of work. Carlos and his crew were simply outstanding....the workmanship, effort, with as little disruption to our life as possible. Armando is the absolute best drywall repair and wall/ceiling texture resource I have ever been around. I would give them more than 5 stars if possible!?

We recently had JK painting do a large 2 story house with lap cedar siding. The house had not been painted since it was built 30 yrs ago. This was a difficult project; much of it was very high (one wall of it required a bucket lift for a week). The project required a 5-6 man crew for a week followed by a couple of guys doing touchup work for… another 2 days. There was lots of time allocated for the crew to do washing, caulking, priming, and masking. They did a very meticulous job, digging out many dozens of feet of old caulk and replacing it all with new. They carefully protected the roof

After living in the house now for ~ 2 months I'm changing the review. We've noticed several spots that were missed / leaked, and after having them come over 2 times for additional touch ups we are still finding spots / issues. There are two closets where the ceiling was just not painted. Also, at the time they mentioned the trim was in decent shape and they didn't think it needed to be done. We are currently about to do it because it looks so bad against the painted walls.
We definitely saved thousands of dollars by going with JK, so from a price / value standpoint they are solid

We used this business to paint the exterior of our home including a shed as well as 3 exterior doors, two of which were were metal surfaces. I have already recommended this company to others and plan on using them again in the future:

- Quick appointment for a bid and the bid also came quickly. It wasn't the cheapest but very reasonable
- All the contract stuff was handled in a very friendly and professional manner (email contract, clear line items, etc.)
- The quality of work was top notch and boy were they fast! (3.5 days to power wash, prep and paint a 3000 sqft home plus outside

JK Painting had a competitive bid, helped us with the color selection and sent a good team. My compliments to Christine, Michael and especially Sergei and his attention to detail.
We're in Dundee in a craftsman we purchased two years ago. We had seen a photo with four colors on a cottage and attempted to get close to it. I have to say with JK's help we got darn close.

JK Paint & Contracting did a great job on my home in Portland. I worked with David Gonzales and found him to be very professional, friendly, prompt, responsive to phone calls and emails and fair. They painted 4 bedrooms and I've scheduled them to do some additional painting on the exterior. They did a good job with clean up too I will use them again for any painting needs. I highly recommend them.

Joe, Carlos and the team did an outstanding job on our 100 year old craftsman.The job required painting a 3000 sq ft house and free standing garage, building new entry stairs, fixing a fair amount of drywall, replacing siding, and reinforcing our side deck. Since we had lead paint lead- abatement gear was also necessary. It was a huge project and took almost 3 weeks- and we are thrilled with the outcome. We chose 5 colors and it turned out perfectly. We had one small issue that popped up and it was fixed within a week. The bid was right on- we knew it would be an expensive project and were willing

We highly recommend JK Paint & Contracting! Joe and his crew did a great job. They removed our popcorn ceilings and repaired, refinished, and repainted them. Very happy with the results. Joe is professional and easy to work with. The work was finished on time, and the price was in the ballpark with other bids we received (actually a bit lower). We would definitely hire Joe and Crew again for painting and other work.
