The Lawnfather's inception dates back to 2011 and was run part time by several local high school students with the goal of providing quality lawn maintenance services at an affordable price. Today those goals continue to be the focus of this company as its operations transition from being run part time between college semesters, to a full time lawn service business.
Our weekly mowing service consists of a clean cut of the turf at the appropriate height for the given conditions. We then trim around obstacles, such as fences and trees, and edge around hard surfaces such as sidewalks, patios, and driveways. To complete the service we blow residual grass clippings off the hard surfaces and back into the turf areas.
Refresh the look of your yard with a fresh installation of much in your garden beds. We start out of by removing debris and weeds from the beds. We then define the beds with a crisp edge that separates your garden from the turf area, and top it off with new mulch. We provide a variety of colors and types of mulch for whatever suits your preference!

Outstanding service. We have used Lawnfather for over one year for: routine mowing & trimming; mulching; and aeration & seeding. Our lawn is healthier and looks better than it has in years. Hired the LawnFather to do my elderly uncle's leaf removal and some landscape work on his Five acre estate in fairfax station. My uncle being very particular about how his lawn looks and would always complain about how different larger company's maintained it and how they seemed to be very expensive. Matt came out and talked with him and really listen to some particular requests and made recommendations and made sure that they were done above satisfaction and at an exceptionally reasonable price. Matt and friends having been mowing my lawn for the past 5 years. Matt is very reliable and does excellent work. Matt mows the lawn weekly and does edging as well. He fertilizes the lawn a few times during the summer to get rid of the weeds. The lawn looks really good and manicured.
