Curtis Greene and Chad Evans originally started in the landscaping and lawn maintenance business while they were in high school and college. Clients liked their reliability and the quality of their work. Even in high school and college, Greene explained, we took it very seriously and set high standards for everything we did.
After college graduation, they both landed jobs in their chosen professions, but there was a problem. They missed working on peoples yards and both realized they needed to pursue their real passion. Soon Independence Landscape and Lawn Care officially opened for business.

Mowing services are provided weekly or every two weeks for residential and commercial clients. Mowing your lawn at the perfect height to promote a deeper root system for a mature healthy lawn. Trimming along the foundation of your home or office, fence lines, trees, flower beds, sidewalks and curbs.
Accurate and timely applications based on seasonal conditions are critical for healthy turf. We pay close attention to the weather and condition of your lawn. Our licensed Applicators will apply only the highest quality fertilizer and weed control products to your lawn. Our ten lawn care treatments give your lawn all the necessary nutrients at the correct times of the year to promote a healthy, green, weed-free lawn.
Core-Aeration helps relieve compaction of the soil and allows water, air, and nutrients to reach the root system of your lawn. This is done by pulling small plugs up from your lawn with an aeration machine. Combined with the aeration, over-seeding can dramatically revitalize your lawn. The optimal time to do this is in the fall.

Mark and the crew were great at "renovating" our whole yard. They started our work on schedule and kept everything to the original estimate and plan. The crew cleaned up at the end of every day and each morning made sure to check in with us before starting.
They made sure we knew what work was scheduled for that day and made sure we didn't have any questions/concerns. Mark even helped us coordinate logistics with another company installing a new sprinkler syatem. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to do major.landscaping projects or simple yard maintenance.

Ben and Jorge and his crew are THE BEST!!
Our garden was a real issue for us and we've been wanting to upgrade for literally years. Chad worked closely with us on this project several years ago. He made the process so easy, discussed options with us and came back with a design we were very happy with. Then we had to pause the project (new baby on the way).
We came back to it late this year and this time we worked with Ben. He was such a *pleasure* to work with! We pulled out the original design to review, and he helped us make a couple of adjustments to reflect our evolving tastes.

Ben Rupert was instrumental in providing a landscape plan in several areas in my yard that sorely needed attention.
In the back yard, a tree that had been there for over 30 years had to be removed, and it left a desolate area. The large electrical box in front of this area was even more apparent without the tree. When entering the yard from the gate, there was nothing that was welcoming. Ben came up with a plan, and his team implemented it beautifully.
There were other areas in the yard that also needed attention, and with Ben’s help, each were improved more than I could have ever imagined

Mark assessed the condition of my front yard late last summer and recommended a few changes to our maintenance program from another company. He suggested that we wait for a full season of their routine work before embarking on a full replacement of the sod. This spring, the grass is looking better than ever, particularly in a number of hard to grow areas. Save a lot of expense in the process!
