Grease traps and grease interceptors are a vital part of your kitchen, but this important component can be easily overlooked until it's overflowing or wreaking havoc on your plumbing. To function properly and to avoid Health Department citations, grease traps and grease interceptors need to be serviced regularly to prevent grease from backing up into the city lines.
We distinguish ourselves from other companies in the industry by providing a full "top-to-bottom" cleaning. While other companies often come in and only clean the portion visible from the kitchen, we recognize that the true fire hazard lies in the areas that are not immediately visible - namely, the flue and the fan on the roof.
At North Bay Restaurant Services, we pride ourselves on being green. Part of that mission is offering our Used Cooking Oil Collection & Recycling to restaurants all across the Bay Area. We are fully licensed by the State of California Department of Food & Agriculture to transport and store used cooking oil.
Over time, dumpster areas housing garbage dumpsters and cooking oil containers become grimy and slippery. Neglecting this area can cause your property to look unsightly and dirty and leads to potential infestations of rodents and parasites. Nothing like having plumbing issues on a holiday weekend! The pump for our holding tank, which holds the waste for our home until it is pumped up to the city sewer line, went out the evening before Thanksgiving. We called their Emergency Line, and they were able to come out on Friday, pump the tank and diagnose the problem. Although they were not able to get the proper part until Monday, they came back once more over the weekend to pump out the tank. (because were had guests on Friday) As promised they got the new pump installed on Monday, and all is well! We worked with Kenny, who was friendly

I contacted North Bay Restaurant Sevices to assist in emergency grease removal during the Santa Rosa firestorms at a remote kitchen helping make meals for first responders and evacuees. I have worked with this company to clean my hoods and pump my grease interceptor for about 6 years. They recycle my cooking oil free of charge. My experience with their team has always been amazing. I put a key on file with them so that I do not even have to worry about hiring someone to stay late or get to the restaurant early to let them in. They set up all of my services recurring, which makes it so effortless. I almost forget about it. And trust me, this is major with so many other things on my mind in running my restaurant.
