Established in 1982 Sunshine Plus Solar Corp. is built on experience, knowledge and treating customers like they are one of our own. Since 1982 Sunshine Plus has been installing, engineering and servicing solar systems throughout the Long Island and the tri-state area. We began our journey starting with Solar Thermal systems in the late 70's to early 80's.

If you're even thinking of having anything solar done to your house, Kevin and his team are the only way to go. Kevin truly gives his customers the five star treatment and makes sure that the work is done fast, clean and efficiently. He has a strong old school work ethic that seems to be fading in today's world. I truly can't recommend him enough and have already told family and friends about his company. Kevin is easy to work with. He is friendly and flexible. We started our first solar panel project with Kevin's Sunshine Plus in 2007. Hello everyone at sunshine plus we would like to thank everyone there for the great job everyone did for me and the family at the munoz residents. The hole team that came to do the job and all the paper work was great we totally appreciated all the work that was put in to complete the job and helping us out on cutting down our electric bill . We have been enjoying working with Kevin from Sunshine Plus Solar since 2013. His team had removed our old solar systems and installed two new systems, one for electricity and the othe for heating the pool. We have been enjoying the 12 dollars monthly electric bills and the warm pool since. He has been maintaining the systems regularly and without our worries! I have now had my solar electric and pool solar for 6-7 years. I have had no issues whatsoever with my electric. I have had only a couple of minor issues with my pool solar over that time, and Kevin has come over and addressed them. I appreciate the fact that he continues to check in with me to make sure that everything is going well and to see if there is anything I need. I know he also checks my electric production on his end as well, and will probably notice if I have a problem before I do. I am recommending them to all my friends and neighbors.

Kevin gave us the best of 5 quotes, did the job on time and with no changes. We started making electricity immediately and have been showing negative power usage ever since! He sourced me premium panels at a discount and we got better yield on a smaller neater array. Clean install, no loose ends. Can't even see it from the street!

We loved everything about Kevin and his business. He was responsive and patient with us and answered all of our questions. We were set on having black solar panels with no grid lines. Kevin showed us what he normally uses in that instance and could tell we liked it, but didn’t love it. However we had agreed because that seemed to be the best option. Kevin went out of his way to contact his distributor to find a darker color that he could provide us. It’s little actions like this, that make us write this 5 star review. Kevin listened to us, heard us and got us exactly what we wanted. Would recommend

Great Company, I know Kevin Kraemer for over 30 years, he has installed 2 hot water solar systems in my house and 2 solar systems to heat the pool. Always on time, knows his business and when there is an emergency you can count on him. We lost one of the solar systems in a fierce storm, and replaced one of the solar systems for the pool.

I liked the job these folks did selling my system, but it turned out that they caused me a major problem. I had an older solar hot water system in place. When they removed the old panels, they did not disconnect the water supply to the water tank. This caused water to keep flowing through it and in January of 2016 the tank ruptured at the worst possible time.
When I approached about it, they said "Tough luck."
