Engineered hardwood doesn't require a plywood sub-floor. Engineered flooring can be installed below grade (e.g. in a basement that is below the ground).

We recently bought a house and wanted to get all of the floors refinished before we moved in. Lygia and her team came the day after closing and they did an amazing job! The floors look awesome. On the first day of the job they put down samples on one area of the floor so we could choose a finish, and Lygia was very helpful when we were having trouble making the decision. She is knowledgeable and friendly and she has a great team. They were extremely quick and efficient, and when they left, the place was immaculate. I couldn't be happier with the way the floors turned out!!

Bespoke Floors installed new wood floors for us at our new home. I’m very happy with the outcome and service. Lygia was informative and provided stellar guidance when we were conflicted with design. She has a true vision to make homes beautiful and high quality. She was always available by phone and offered quick responses. We would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to change their flooring. We will surely use Bespoke Floors to remodel our vacation home as well!

Lygia and her team did a great job refinishing our floors. They went above and beyond, and the attention to detail was impressive. We also managed to stain the floors 1 day after Bespoke was finished, and they were gracious enough to come right back to fix the issue (that we had created). I would highly recommend their services!
