My pool heater heat pump stopped working with a LOW REFRIG alarm showing. I called several different service companies and only two answered or returned my calls. The first one said they did not have anyone that couldn't come out and advised me to call them again in a couple of weeks if I didn't find anyone to come by. Fortunately Certified A/C answered my call and scheduled a service call a few days later. Nick, a senior service tech came out on time and quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed relay which he had a spare one on his truck. It was back online in less than 1/2 hour.

What a great group of professionals! Brad and his crew worked silently and they cleaned as they went. They listened to my questions and provided understandable explanations. The system was up and running in less than 2 days. I highly recommend Certified for your HVAC needs.

The Certified Air-Conditioning Team just completed an installation of two air-conditioning ducted central air systems (5 ton & 3 ton, Bosch condensers, Rheem air-handlers) in our house. They were very professional and the systems are performing perfectly. Both my wife and I work from home and they were able to work around us, communicating well throughout the process. The systems have a much lower sound rating, which we are really happy with, especially since the condensers are located right outside one of our bedrooms.

We have used Certified AC for three different jobs and all were a GREAT expierence. Bradley Kim is wonderful to work with as is all the installers and maintance crew. We had an emergency at our kitchen and they showed up fast and did a deep cleaning. Their quotes are all in quotes including electrical. That was important to us. We reccommend this company.

I purchased 2 AC units. I called for maintenance on the 2 units. a year later.
I was not satisfied with 1 of the units. I was contacted by Joe. I explained my concerns. The unit was replaced the same day. I had excellent service on the installation and now on the maintenance. You don't find many companies today that stand by what they sell. Certified Air Conditioning does with no run around. Maui needs more businesses like Certified AC that people can trust. Thank you..

I needed to have the split system in my condo in Wailea replaced and switched to a central AC system. I contacted and talked with at least four other AC companies and none of them were capable of doing the job. Brad from Certified Air came over and immediately understood what needed to be done, sent me an estimate within 24hrs. and gave me a date to perform​ the work which he began on time. Brad agreed to perform the work while we were off island. The job was very tricky because there was a lot of drywall work involved. The job was completed on time and the drywall work was perfect. We know how hard it is to even get someone to come out during the summer but they sent Chris out same day. He did his assessment and manager Joe came out next day to get us back up and running. A good manager picks up the slack when his staff is booked. We appreciate the great service and will be loyal customers. Definitely recommend!

Horrible company. I've been trying to get split system installed. Called multiple times (main line + Bradley the project manager). No response.
Emailed multiple times the main email + Bradley - no response.
Calling the main line - they didn't help much than leave a message. I shouldn't have to try this hard to get ahold of someone and give someone money.
Especially if I had issues / needed repair, and they treated me this way. No thank you.
Move along and find a more responsive company. You'll thank me later.

We recently received notification from another HVAC company that our home owners association uses for inspections - that our A/C unit was in need of repairs and cleaning. Certfied Air had been recommended to me in the past to install a new wifi thermostat - so I called them to do the repairs, cleaning and thermostat install.. When they arrived on site and inspected our A/C they found that it was not in need of the repairs and cleaning - so they did not do the work and did not charge me for anything. It's not easy finding a reliable, honest, dependable AC installer on Maui! From my experience, you call trust Brad Kim for your split AC needs! He came to identify the unit sizes and had his team installed with quality precision! We requested Mitsubishi split units for the long haul. Everything promised was well executed! Update: back to the usual we don't care about the customer or their business. Reached out to get an AC installed that they had quoted me on and took emails and calls to get a short 5 word response that said we are too busy. Avoid this place at all costs. They have terrible customer service.
Getting in contact with these guys has been a challenge but they seem like a fair company that cares about the customer. Upon finally talking with Joe about my issues he is working with me on the resolution. I'll update the post with full resolution in the next couple months but I am hoping

Have had other A/C Repair companies come out over the years. However, this company in my opinion is by far the most Professional, Knowledgeable, Caring, Dedicated, an Honest company I have had the pleasure of working with. Had our central air serviced over the years and had decided to do without A/C as oppose to paying expensive repair bills only to have our unit work of up to 3months before needing repaired. After going over 2 years without it, we decided to check to see about the cost to fix.

So far this is the best HVAC company I've ever used. They were prompt when I requested a quote and actually gave me a quote within a week. Other companies took weeks to get back with their quote and some never replied. (they weren't the cheapest or the most expensive)
Then when I approved their quote, the equipment was ordered right away and I was on their schedule for the following week.
Then imagine what happened next... yep - they actually showed up when they said they would, 3 trucks loaded with all the equipment; 2 compressors and 2 new air handlers and tons of ductwork.

We moved into our new house and found that Air Conditioners in really bad shape due to neglect and lack of maintenance. Things got worse when we had them inspected for quotes by a couple of companies and we found out that half of our ACs were installed wrong and were leaking water in the walls. Can you say mold? Yeah it was bad and we needed it fixed fast, properly, and without costing a million dollars. We're happy to have gone with Certified Air Condition because they showed up on time, did their work properly and on budget. Did I mention that Joe and crew are also really nice guys

This place is terrible find somebody else to do your AC they acted like they knew what they were doing after installing a unit for $9200 I explain to them it wasn't working properly they told me to find somebody else to prove it wasn't working properly. so I did that come to find out they had cut a massive hole in the air ducks and it was blowing hot air into my business costing me an estimate of $300 more a month to cool on my electric bill.
it's one thing to make a mistake it's another thing to shut people down make them pay some buddy else to come out and fix your mistakes
