On 10/20, the initial visual inspection with camera went well. Next was scheduling a sweep. It's 11/12 and am still waiting to hear back on pricing for the sweep, as well as the gas log kit purchase and installation. Expected this to be done before the holidays in time for entertaining out of state fam but don't believe that will happen. Do not recommend.

We had the best experience with Fireplace Freddie. We had two fireplace and chimneys serviced after years of deferred maintance as well as bringing them up to code. Their price was the best (of several) that I had quoted and they were the most clean, curteous and efficient subcontractors that we had during the extent of our remodel. We also converted from wood burning to gas and had gas logs installed. I love the look and can't wait until winter to turn them on!

I'm incredibly pleased with hiring Fireplace Freddy and Renzo in particular. They were incredibly responsive to all of my questions and concerns, completed all work as promised in a timely fashion, and their price was reasonable compared to some other quotes I had received to stabilize our chimneys. Even when there was a misunderstanding, Renzo made sure everything was taken care of, which speaks volumes.

I had a very good experience with this company. I purchased an old house with a fireplace that hadn't worked in ten years. Freddie was easy to set up an appointment with and Rendo the inspector was very thorough and detailed in his report about why my fireplace was not operable, and recommendations for mimumum and recommended repairs. Fireplace Freddie was outstanding! For a fair and reasonable price, they fixed our chimney and our replacement insert is absolutely breathtaking. All the workers were extremely respectful, safe and attentive. Their attention to detail was extraordinary and they made sure the work was done correctly. These people are great - I recommend them with great enthusiasm and thank them for their professionalism and excellence. We finally have a workable and safe fireplace! Now we just need the heat to subside so we can enjoy it ;-)

Renzo prepared a thorough proposal of work needed on both fireplaces.
Edgar and Luis completed many interior and exterior repairs to both fireplaces. They were very careful to cover all furniture and carpets in both rooms. They were very helpful in answering our questions about the repairs.
At the competition of work, everything was cleaned up including the roof.
We will not be testing the success of the repairs until winter weather necessitates building a fire. But we have great confidence in the work provided by Fireplace Freddie's team.

I got a weird vibe from them and decided not to move forward with the project. The guy who came out was late, I needed to call to figure out why they didn't call me. I was charged $125 for him coming to the house to "inspect" before quoting. I happily paid it, but then needed to call and nudge to even get a quote. The quote had little detail, not even a link to the fireplace they were recommending but lots of warning about not covering plaster and paint and holes. Great fast service ... They came in early April... Fully safe. Good estimates and follow through. Family owned business right here in shadow hills. I needed new flashing in the exterior of my fireplace to keep rain and bugs and dirt out. I also used their services to clean out my fireplace about a year ago. Great business!

Amazing job! He cleaned my parents, then went to my Twin’s place, and then did my place. Literally asked him after he was done with my twins if he could come over and do mine and he said no problem! He was very friendly & even took the time to say hi to my twin toddlers. Would definitely recommend to friends & family. We have had a fire almost everyday since and love it! Thank you so much :)

Iv'e been working here for a little while now and I really couldn't be happier. They make it a point to ensure everyone's taken care of and actively look for ways to improve. Checkups are a huge part of what we do to make sure the customer is completely happy with the work done, if for some reason there's even the slightest fault we will work with them to solve the issue. I'f you're looking for a new job they're always looking for able bodied people to hire and train.

The only positive thing I can say about this company is that Juan and his partner who actually did the work were professionals and overall I am pleased with the job they did.
When it comes to communication, scheduling, ordering, and leadership I would rate them a solid F. There does not seem to be any one point person for the job and the only one who was consistently communicating with us was the one asking for payment.
