We purchased a home right before the holidays, and the carpets needed to be cleaned. My allergies were so bad I was ready to rip out the carpets. I was worried I would not be able to get scheduled before the holidays, but I was able to get an appointment within a week. The scheduler recommended having a sanitizing treatment done at the same time. I had an appointment for Saturday with anticipated arrival between 8-8:30 am. We got up early to move furniture, prep for their arrival and get three kids out of the house for the day. I called the company at 10:15 as I had not heard from anyone. Apparently, their technician had called in sick and they could reschedule me for Friday (six days away). I asked if there was anything better that they could do. Not once did I ever get an apology or an offer of something that they could do for me. We had Sweet's Chem-Dry come out and clean the carpet in our bedroom, living room and entry January 9th. When the carpet dried it looked dull and dirty. I took our Bissell carpet cleaner to a 3 x 3 area of the bedroom and got out a lot of dirt and stain. We received a call from them on the 10th asking how the service was and we told them we were totally dissatisfied as the carpets were not clean. The caller asked if we wanted Them to come back out and I told her I believe it was the process used and not the technician doing the work that did not do the job and did not feel that another attempt

My second time using sweets and I couldn't be happier. Leah and Felix did an amazing job on a sectional, loveseat and rug. They were more than kind, honest and professional. The price was very fair for the job, I was given a discount for being a return customer. Leah also gave me some great advice on another wool rug I chose not to have cleaned. I appreciated that she was not pushy at all to try and get me to have more work done. I will never use another business for carpet/upholstery cleaning.

Saw they had great reviews on yelp and Groupon. Bought a groupon deal. Confirmed appointment a couple days before. On day of appointment, they no showed then had someone call and leave a voicemail saying someone got sick and no one else was available. Told to call on Monday to reschedule appointment. No answer in phone when I tried to call back. The thing is Monday is when I give the keys back to property management. I can't reschedule. Horrible service. Will be demanding a refund, will never use them again nor will I ever recommend them. Thankfully another carpet cleaning company stepped

My technician called to let us know he was on his way. He arrived at the appointed window of time. He was courteous, professional and cleaned our carpet in about two hours. The carpet looked nice. However, my issue was the drying time. I was told that my carpet would be dry in 4-6 hours. It took over THREE days for the carpet to be completely dry. And do I need to be concerned about mold now? I was told that ChemDry uses less water (80% less than hot water extractions) so as not to cause excessive damage to the carpet. First of all, I did a google search on upholstery cleaning and Vancouver Chem-dry showed up. I followed their link and placed an online appointment. No where did it tell me they are no longer in business and that Sweets from Oregon took them over.

I would recommend Sweets Chem Dry to anyone. The office team was very responsive and Quinten was great onsite. We set the appointment time and they confirmed two days in advance. The tech also confirmed half hour before he arrived. He got here right on time, took measurements of the rooms and gave me the price which was less than quoted (awesome!). He worked efficiently and was done exactly on time. I appreciated the quick friendly service, and my carpets look great! It only took a few hours to dry as well!!

He was knowledgeable, polite and efficient. The office called me to confirm my appointment window and then the technician called when he was on his way. I infrequently write reviews. Overall they did a good job, they got the urine and poo smell out of the carpet which was very noticeable prior.
The person who did the cleaning, a nice person, but talked a lot when I just wanted them to get to work.
Had them clean the couch which it's never been cleaned, and it looked shiny after!
Decent pricing, would recommend.

I purchased a Groupon in early July, and when I emailed Sweet's to schedule, I heard back within the hour about their availability. I was able to schedule a time that worked really well for me. Technician called 25 minutes before appointment to let me know he was on his way, and he arrived right on time. Very professional college kid, he helped me to get the most out of my 350 sq.ft. Groupon deal, and added the stairs at a very reasonable cost. He worked efficiently and was done in just over an hour. Carpet and stairs look fabulous. I will absolutely use Sweet's in the future!!
