I called Mike with a list of small repairs and he was very responsive. There was a problem with a faucet not fitting and a new one had to be purchased but he was able to come back quickly and replace it with the new one that I had purchased. There was also a problem with a programmable thermostat that was installed and Mike again was very responsive and did not quit until they figured out what was causing it and fixed it. I would definitely use his services again! Great customer service!

Mike was thoughtful and pleasant to work with. Showed up promptly, gave a straightforward no-nonsense estimate, and cleaned up after the project was complete. Also took the initiative to install an extension to a pull chain for a light that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to reach! Highly recommend.

Called MNM on a Friday to see if I could get some melted siding fixed. He gave me a quote with just a few pictures and came on Monday with the materials and completed the job within a few hours. Also gave me a deal since he knew our landlord wasn't going to be paying to fix any of the siding. He wore a mask the whole time and was very professional. I would highly recommend him for all your handyman needs :)

Mike was very quick to respond to my quote request. He showed up on time in a professional construction trunk. There was a America flag, so I knew he was the right guy. He carefully analyzed the job, and told me the job is going to take a longer time than he thought, but he still honored the price that his office quoted me via yelp. Overall, very down to earth, no bs kinda guy. He is coming back to do the job in a few days. I will update this review after work.

Okay so, a small backstory here:
I had just moved into a new place with my wonderful girlfriend and we had ordered a washer/dryer combo from Home Depot.
Home Depot COMPLETELY screwed up multiple times by failing to deliver the washer/dryer then when they did deliver, never had told us we needed the stacking kit to install these, despite us telling them we need a stacking washer/dryer for our home.
Then, we finally have our parts and we schedule Home Depot's install - they just *cancel* our appointment, don't tell us. And the only solution they give us is "I don't know, go

Michael ( @ M 'N M home repair), has been out here 3 or 4 times now,
they've done some tricky home repair stuff for me on a big old house.
(They found and completely replaced a 40-year-old unique crank out window, with all the supporting framing all slutted out, and installed it perfectly! Mike is really smart mechanically & otherwise, He's been doing this for decades since working hisDad back in the day, He's figured out fixes that have stumped me... He and his partner, (can handle small jobs simultaneously have also done a myriad of other work for us

Mike and his team are prompt, sincere and very kind. After several unsuccessful request with other places, I was so surprised to hear Mike's voice when I dial the number as most of the time I will be directed to voice message, which is understandable but no return calls... More surprisingly, after I explained my situation- a defect thermostat-he not only agreed to show up next day in the morning but also offered to purchase the thermostat for me. Excellent service and even better turnaround. I called Mike to help me replace a garbage disposal and fix other little things around my apartment and in less than 12 hours he was working on it.
He gave me a good quote that included the new pieces that needed to be put (garbage disposal, toilet seat, and sink sprayer).

Mike and his team were great. They know how to get stuff done. They fixed all sorts of things in our apt., lights, doors, windows insulation, the metal gate at the entrance, wood table restoration, and many other things...they can do pretty much anything. Price is reasonable considering that Mike invests great effort and precision in his work. They are also very clean and always careful to leave the house in order when they leave. Mike is friendly and a good person. We totally recommend them!

We had a fairly straightforward over-range microwave replacement/installation. I called around to probably 4-5 handymen, and no one even called back. Mike answered immediately, found the time and came the next day. He contacted us and asked if it was OK to show up early. I called Mike at about 12 noon today, not really expecting same-day service. Luckily, Mike finished a job early and was able to come by right away at 1 pm sharp to fix the downspout and corner board of the house that were damaged by strong wind. These guys are great. Our kitchen sink had been taken out by an ice dam that had fallen through our glass ceiling and was in dire need of repair. The first company I called came out and told me that they could repair the plumbing, but wouldn't attach the sink to the granite countertops- worst, was that they were going to charge over $1200.

Had Mike seal up a window that was leaking when it rained in my condo. Held up tight in the northeaster a couple days later. Kindly gave me 1 year warranty on his work without me even asking.
I should note, many other handyman services gave me the run-around about their availability, presumably because they didn't want to come to Allston. Mike scheduled a time to come within a couple days and showed up and got the job done.
