My wife and I moved into our first house with a pool. We had no idea how to take care of a pool. My wife called Ivan to do our first cleaning and he really educated us about what it takes to take care of a pool. I felt confident enough to try taking care of it this season. Said he would come clean my pool filter, gave me a day and time, so I ensured I was home all day expecting him. I sent texts asking him when I can expect him. No response. By 2pm, I still hadn't heard from him, so I phoned. only THEN he told me he wouldn't be coming at all! Wow! Do not recommend someone who says they will come but then after texts and attempts to phone, doesn't show up or have the decency to text back and say he can't make it.

We are house hunting and are looking at homes that have pools. We know nothing about maintaining a pool. I called and spoke with Ivan, who was super friendly and knowledgeable, and provided good information on things we should look for and consider when looking at pools. We definitely appreciated the customer service he provided. If we get a pool, I will call Ivan for sure!

Let me start by saying that we have never owned a pool before we moved into our house almost 2 years ago. Our pool was in ROUGH shape. It had been neglected for at least 5 years before we moved in, uncovered, unfiltered, basically the perfect home for frogs and algae. The water was full on green and mucky. Since I purchased my house, I dealt with many contractors. Experience with Annapolis Pool Service was probably the best , easiest to deal with for sure from all of the contractors I encountered. Professional, responsive and very honest , which is not common nowadays.
Strongly recommending their weekly maintenance package, I was silly enough to request monthly maintenance and that just not enough.
Also they will give you estimate on work that needs to be done, as a recommendation, without being pushy and I really liked that.
