My wife and I have been in our rental house since March of last year, and she's been wanting to utilize the gas fireplace since we moved in. I knew not what condition it was in, nor anything about it so I elected to have it serviced, along with a chimney sweep (if needed).
After calling 4-5 local companies, Hale's was the first to call me back so I got on their schedule. Sherrill was fantastic! She got me on their schedule for mid-February (this was right in-line with the other companies that called back, also). I could not be more pleased with the service provided by Hales Chimney & Fireplace Solutions. Sherrill in the office was fantastic when I called to book the appointment. Due to a cancellation she was able to fit us in the schedule quickly which was so nice. Andrew came to my home today and he was AWESOME! He was courteous, clean and so sweet to my dog that kept barking at him. He took the time to explain to me how to use the fireplace (beginner here, no clue) safely. When it came time to clean the dryer vent, his job got much harder. Apparently our roofer from 2018 didn't do the right things and

Called this company due to great reviews. We wanted to replace our current fire logs to get something that would produce more warmth. They stated in order to do that, they would have to inspect the fireplace we currently have. It was a $189 inspection. Clint came out and gave us a very detailed written analysis. However, he never provided us the quote for the work he recommended. I contacted him 2x via email that was sent to me with the inspection report. 3 weeks later, I called the office. They stated he never responds to emails. They sent me the quote right away. Problem is the 5k quote was for

Customer service, workmanship, & communication were all top notch. Booking appointments with Sherrill was easy & email appointment confirmation was nice. From dryer vent cleaning by Julio and fireplace repair by Clint & Clay, they identified multiple issues caused by our recent roof replacement - exterior dryer vent screen catching lint & blocking outflow; improper slip cap installation preventing proper exhaust of chimney. Working with Martin and Dion for my inspection and resulting repairs was a wonderful experience. They were both extremely professional and explained findings and the steps we would possibly need to take with complete transparency. They worked to find solutions to the issues found immediately, and when we had to schedule a follow-up they were able to work to get me on the schedule as promptly as possible. We have been renovating an older house now for a year. Therefore, I have had several companies in working on the house. If all had been as amazing as Hales Chimney it would have been a lot easier! I can't say enough of what a great job they did. Everyone that was here working on my 4 chimneys was professional and friendly. Clint knows his stuff and did a phenomenal job. Fast, professional, quality work. We’ve had Hales service our fireplace for the last several years. They’ve always been prompt and courteous and have done excellent work.

I utilized Hales Chimney to repoint a bunch of old masonry on my brick chimney as well as build me a new rain cap. After months of research I eventually went with this business because of the positive experience I had with Clint during the quoting process. I also really like the look of the new chimney cap over the competitors. Not only does it look great but the edges protrude out further to ensure excess water does not run along the chimney when raining. You can tell they have a lot of experience and forethought into their designs that work better than many others.

Just finished having Hales Chimney & Fireplace Solutions clean and inspect my fireplace and I must say, it was a 1st class experience. Prompt, professional, HONEST, and informed...my technician Dallas was all of these. He took the time to explain everything he was doing with the most impressive part being the time he took to sit down with me to go over the pictures and recommendations on potential repairs I would need later on down the line. Martin and Julio did an awesome job cleaning our fireplace and assessing how to properly use it after no consistent maintenance has been implemented previously. Martin was kind and patient with me as I’m new to learning about how our 100 year old chimney works. He walked me through several options and prices for future use of our fireplace…..especially regarding the safest, easiest choices for our family’s usage of the fireplace with little kids. Overall, a great experience!
