This place has a huge selection, but the quality is not that great and the prices are just crazy. Latif kept saying he was going to give me a good deal, so my designer and I spent a ton of time picking out rugs for my house. In the end he tried to charge me some crazy prices and he wouldn't give me a discount...for what were pretty standard Indian rugs. The next day I went to another rug store and bought better quality rugs, and it was more the 30% cheaper!

We had to buy several rugs and a complicated stair runner for our new house. We really did not know what we wanted at all. Latif was incredibly helpful - he looked at pictures of our house, listened to us explain what we wanted and was able to recommend the perfect rugs both from an aesthetics but also durability perspective ! The rugs look amazing - all but one of them are now in place and were installed beautifully. The stair runner is stunning. Come here first if you are looking for a rug for your home! We had started our day at furniture stores that sale rugs with salesman that didn't know their product or their inventory. They just flipped through hundreds of rugs and said tell us when to stop. We were trying find a rug that corrdinated to a paint swatch. After over an hour of flipping I decided to Google "rug store in Houston". Rug Mart caught my eye bc it has 20,000 sq ft showroom. When we got to the store Latif assisted us and he was phenomenal! Great selection of rugs and well priced. And the owner was incredibly helpful. He even bought a sample to my house so we could see how they looked in the rooms. He spent a lot of time helping us in the process. When my dog had an accident on one of the rugs, he told me how to clean it and it saved hundreds of dollars which it would have cost had I used a rug cleaning company

Walk in, let them help you, keep digging. The most fastidious, professional, well run rug shop in Houston. The owner runs a tight ship--will bend over backwards to make it work. Delivers, installs, stands behind the work. Total pro. I've used them twice now and while you'd never know----from the front of the building and name--once inside a whole different story. Great place, giant selection.

Not impressed. Nice space, very neat, organized and clean. In general the rugs are pretty, but nothing to brag about. In terms of cost, they are on the higher end like a Restoration Hardware, but not nearly as modern nor unique as RH. Seems overpriced for the quality and comparison to like competitors. Shop around.

Rug Mart is one the best showroom in Houston (not only Houston, in TX state. )
The collection and quality of his rugs is not compareble with street products. That is the reason why you should show some respect once you walking to this store.
The owner of this place is very reputable and kind business man. So i would never let him prejudged on any social media platform.
You should definetly stop by if you want to see a rug paradise on this earth.

I would recommend Rug Mart to anyone who is looking for a quality rug at a good value. I have been looking many places for a rug in a very specific color and hue (ivory and sky blue, vintage), and was either unsuccessful or it was too expensive. I went to Rug Mart and immediately saw the sign outside the door "For appointments call..." and was afraid I would not be welcomed unannounced. Not so! The salesperson Latif has no interest in selling rugs. My husband and I described what we were looking for dozens of times before he lazily showed us to the other parts of the showroom. If I could give the place zero stars I would. Exorbitant prices, poor quality, and the worst customer service I have ever encountered in ANY establishment. Don't waste your time!!!

Was very keen to purchase a rug from them but the owner seemed very disinterested to sell. He did not even call his boys to help us move the rugs for viewing and we had to do it all by ourselves. Decent collection, exorbitant prices. Overall, individual buyers stay away! This guys business model seems to be on wholesale and unless you are an interior designer, he will not bother with you.

We had a wonderful experience with Rug Mart! I was recommended to their showroom by a designer and would have never guessed from their location off the freeway and the façade of the building that they would have so many choices and how good the quality and price would be. The showroom went on and on with every imaginable size and style. We needed 4 rugs and Latif went above and beyond to help us select the right rugs for every room. Rug Mart was recommended by my interior designer after I have been looking for the right rugs for sometime. I was surprised when I walked in. It was a huge place with so many beautiful rugs. The owner was very helpful & quickly guided me to the right rugs to go with my fabrics & paint color. I needed 2 large rugs & a few smaller ones, which I ordered from their custom samples. I was worried that it might be an expensive place but I think the prices were great for kind of selection I got. The delivery guy was very professional & installed the rugs with the pads. I am so glad I found this place

Don't let the name "Rug Mart" mislead you. This is an impressive showroom! A very large selection and beautiful display. Latif was very helpful in narrowing down some choices for us (.... we had shown him some pictures of the room we were shopping for). After selecting 4 rugs (Oushaks) they brought them over to our house to see how they would look in our interior. Latif's employees were very pleasant, helpful and patient. We highly recommend this business.

Beautiful rugs, and lots of them. Prices are VERY negotiable. Don't pay more than around 2400 (give or take 100) for a 10x14 rug, even if it's marked 15,000. I think he may have some 10x14s that cost more, but you can find one for less than 2500. We always deal with Latif, and he includes the rug pad in the overall price.
