We bought a new build. We moved from out of state and were not here when they did our yard. I was told by the builder it was sod. When we arrived it was seed and Winter Rye at that. So as soon as the heat came we had no grass. It was straight dirt. Then the rain came and we have bad irrigation issues and now we have a yard full of goose grass. I'm pretty irritated as we are outside people and wanted a nice lawn to look at especially after the move from Alaska. I have mentioned this to the builder over and over again. My wife paid for two pallets of centipede sod to be delivered to our home. Top layers looked fine, but once top layer was remove, nothing but disappointment. I had to puzzle pieces of sod together to get a whole square; going on three weeks and the sod is still brown with no signs of growing. Same day of purchase, we try to call with concerning about how the sod was looking, but had to leave a message and no one has called us back yet. We will never use Snow's again.

Not impressed with the 3 pallets I had delivered today. The price seemed on par with other companies and the customer service was good. While installing the sod, I was very frustrated with how dry the pallet had become. It seemed as though it was fresh cut, at least the price would lend to that assumption. We started laying the sod immediately and this was not freshly cut. I would estimate that 1.5 of the product was practically dust. It made installation horrendous. Especially frustrating to get to the last few layers of the last pallet to finally have decent slabs. Made what should have been

Would not recommend this business to anyone. The receptionist who answered the phone was incredibly rude and not personable at all. Could only tell me, someone will have to call you back but we’re booked many weeks out. It’s almost as if they didn’t want my business before I even could talk about the job. 2 days later... still no call back. 1 star seems generous for this company.

They came and done my yard twice now. After 3 months I have grass all in random spots and there work looks like trash. I would never hire them to work on my yard. I will be doing it myself the right way next spring. Look for another lawn company poor job.

They keep using riding lawnmower to cut our hilly grass, the mower keeps sliding down the hill pulling the grass with it. We've had horrible problems with washout and keeping the grass there is hard. Called to ask them not to, was told supervisor would call me back. Over a week now and not a word.
As of August 10 I've heard from no one, also today they used their blowers to blow some of the grass off the walkways, blew my wreath off door. No big deal, but instead of picking it up they picked up doormat and put it on top of it. Still tearing up lawn with riding mower.

We have a very busy life... I called for an estimate on having our lawn care services taken care of, to help free us up for more family time. We had great service from Sue that answered the phone, Adam and Jordan getting us an estimate and getting our services scheduled. They are always on time to our home and do an excellent job! The guys that come out are always friendly and leave our yard looking great! I never have to worry about when we will find time to cut the grass again!

Never used them for landscaping, but they need to teach their people how to park responsibly. At the Bojangles in Knightdale, NC and these idiots just took up several front door parking places like the owned it. One truck parked around back like most big trucks do here. Believe this - if they parked like this in front of a business I owned, they would be towed. Complete DB's.
