Empire was contracted by our insurance company when we had a burst pipe and water damage that required running a new service to our master bathroom. We were not familiar with Empire but each time they were in over the course of a month, the place was clean, prepped and ready for the next step and the communication throughout was awesome. Joe, Valerie and Lyndsay run a great office and the coordination was great. I have a small business as well and was impressed with them throughout. These guys are a scam. They tore our basement apart claiming that we had a huge mold issue. They stated that they would block off ventilation to the rest of the house as we were staying in the residence at the time. I had to call them after day one because I got extremely sick due to the ventilation not being blocked as they stated. They charged us for hazmat suits which they were not wearing when they tore the walls down nor were they wearing masks. There was no mold behind any of the wall board. I would not recommend these guys to anyone. There was never a mold issue in our basement.
