Services
Starting with an anonymous 1960s urban clearance retail building, A4 Architecture was able to create a structure which had the look of a Victorian Era building. The challenge was making it fit nicely within it's historic location in downtown Newport. As a result of the renovation, the rent role increased and vacancy decreased to zero.
Having used an old farm building for many years, the Conanicut Yacht Club racquet committee knew they needed a new structure but like the charm and simplicity of the old building. We won the competition to create the new structure, which we located closer to the courts while still including the vernacular charm and features the members wanted.

A4 ARCHITECTURE undertook a historic restoration and designed a garage for our Victorian home located in the Historic Point neighborhood of Newport. His extensive historical knowledge helped us get our Historic District approvals. His architectural expertise resulted in a beautiful and functional design while also providing all practical considerations for such a structure.
