I have used Michigan shower door and mirror for years and sent them a multitude of clients. Recently the owner Larry went to my job a to measure for a shower door and wall of mirrors, $6500 job. He rang the doorbell and got no answer so he called me, I had an employee go up and let him in. He then proceeded to be totally rude with my client. He suggested a totally different way of doing the door than I had planned on. Not only suggested a different way but one that wouldn’t work with the situation. After I called and told them I needed it done the right way I was informed it would be another

We had our shower door in the basement replaced by Michigan Shower Door. They initially told us that the repair would be done in 1-2 weeks, which would have had it repaired a week or two before we needed it, which was great. Unfortunately, it was about 2-3 weeks before we ever heard back from the company, and was over a month before they returned to reinstall it. (Needless to say, it was not back in the time that we needed it.) Additionally, the final price was double what the initial quote was. We brought a photo of the broken door in, and asked for a quote. After a pleasant showroom experience the custom shower door was brought out by the installer who determined it was the wrong size, incorrectly measured by Larry who turns out to be the owner. I'm told we need a new one and I would have to go two weeks with no shower. When the owner learns of his measure mistake he has his installer call back to say great news, the solution is to add a couple of inches of metal to the frame so it fits. I paid a premium for a sleek semi-frameless shower so adding more metal making a bulky looking frame will cheapen the look and pretty much look like the low end shower

After a not good experience and a kind of high quote with a highly recommended local bathroom glass company, I decided to look around for another source. Heard about Michigan Shower Door, so drove up to their shop. Impressed. Had them do my custom shower glass enclosure. Came out beautiful. Nice guys, professional, and pleasant to work with. I recommended them to a friend who had them do his remodel, and he was very happy with their work too.

Today is the 3rd occasion I had to use Michigan Shower Door and as with the other times I am totally please and would recommend their services.
