Jim Kehoe, owner of JMK Construction, has been building custom homes and additions for over thirty years in the Warrenton and Northern Virginia area (to include areas as far south as Fredericksburg, Stafford and into Rappahannock, Fairfax and areas in between). We can generate architectural drawings, take care of zoning requirements, health department and all phases of the permitting process to conclude with your occupancy permit.

We also offer custom decks, kitchen & bath remodels, home renovations, garage building and more. We take pride and time in our workmanship. JMK Construction builds customer new homes, whether you provide the plans or we have them made up based on your dreams and vision.
This innovative sheathing does not require housewrap on walls or felt on the roof. The only thing to be done is use the proprietary seam tape. This product is resistant to the elements while framing, thus eliminating damage due to swelling. Did you know that in addition to granite, quartz and other natural stones, countertops are also made of bamboo, paper, solid glass, recycled glass and scrap metal?

We had a small bathroom that needed redone. JMK took the job and I’m so glad they did. The quality of work was outstanding. This is JMK’s second job for us. The first was our porch. Again, remarkable workmanship. I would bring them in again when something else needs dome. JMK will be my only call!

Just finishing up our second experience with JMK. The first was a large wraparound porch and this time a complete remodel of our bathroom. Our house is 200+ years old, which can present unique challenges. You wouldn’t know this by the quality of the finished work. It’s very rare to find a contractor who holds his self and his team to level of quality that John does. I have and will gladly continue to recommend JMK to anyone that is looking for a good honest contractor. Thanks for another great John!

We recently had the good fortune of contracting with JMK Construction to complete a new concrete floor in the basement of our turn-of-the-century home. This company was unbelievable, from the owner, through to the crew that did the work. The crew was professional, they took the time to explain everything they were doing. They cleaned up the work area, and if wasn’t for the difference in the coloring of the concrete, you would not have known anyone was even there.
We would highly recommend JMK.

Totally professional and great crew! Our patio is absolutely beautiful and we love everything about it - design, color and size. John, the owner, was very patient with all our questions and concerns, and he always responded in a very reasonable time frame. The process didn't end after the pour - the owner wanted to make sure we were happy with everything and asked if we were pleased with his crew. I can't say enough for his professionalism in every step of the way!

I had a new driveway and patio and stairs and even walkways torn out and replaced by JMK this time last year. EXCELLENT!!! They did an amazing job and it was completed in a week.
This year I had a new bathroom put in and work done to the kitchen. I need to tell you, the workmanship was incredible. The thought and planning that went into this total remodel was beyond anything I thought of doing. The end result was perfection in every sense of the word.

Where to begin, I contacted 3 concrete companies for quote John actually answered his phone and came out the next day. He answered all my questions and even added his own suggestions.
We booked a year out and JMK was able to hold themselves to the date. Demo and Pour went without a hitch. His crews are friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Even after John came by to check on our satisfaction and to lay another coating of sealant down. I wouldn't hesitate to use JMK again or recommend to a friend! Thanks John!

We contracted JMK to tear-up our old driveway (10+ year-old black top) and pour us a concrete replacement. It turned out incredible. The team was punctual, kind, and informative.
