I had both solar power and geothermal newly installed by APS in 2021. Previously, I had a propane forced air furnace, and central air conditioning in my home, along with standard utility electric. My experience with APS has been exceptional. Solar was installed in early spring, and geothermal was installed in the fall, because there were some very generous grants that they continued to seek on our behalf. The grants took some time to come through. Initially, I did have sticker shock at the price, but after all of the grants and tax incentives, the geothermal in particular was extremely affordable

I have been using Alternative Power Solutions for my whole house generator as well as my geothermal heating/cooling unit. for quite a few years. They are a pleasure to work with. Always polite and informative (everyone from Lynn who sets up my appointments, to Owen, the owner, who serviced the units .).. Called in the morning to inform of arrival time - and showed up exactly when stated. Performed an efficient and thorough inspection of all my wall units and the main system in the basement. Was courteous and even made sure not to track snow/ice/mud into the house (even though I said they didn’t have to worry about it.) Overall great service - would highly recommend.

Spoke with Owen who was out to my house the same day to look at my system. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and was able to diagnose the issue...and fix it!
Also, let's not forget Lynne at the office who was also very helpful and kind when I called.
APS has a great team! I would strongly recommend them for your Geothermal needs.
