Currently serving as the Vice-Chair of the Fernandina Beach Historic District Council, I would like to introduce myself.
I am a State of Florida Licensed Architect and also a LEED Accredited Professional. I hold both a Bachelor's Degree in Design and a Master's Degree of Architecture from the University of Florida. While attending school, I spent several years studying architecture abroad in Italy at the Vicenza Institute of Architecture.
While there, I developed a passion for historic architecture and witnessed firsthand the complexities of combining historically sensitive design work with practical applications of modern materials and uses. I moved to Fernandina Beach in 1996 to work as an intern architect for Beer, Stauffer and Associates.

Every custom design begins with personal face-to-face communication. Discovering the wants and needs of the client is the foundation upon which the 'placemaking' process builds. I strive to create authentic designs that are inspired by the local context and include memorable detailing. An understanding of the client and the project site helps me to create innovative solutions, and to develop dynamic experiences within each design.
