Their fee structure is so non-variable that you're in danger of getting ripped off. What it comes down to is this. Their flat fee for coming to your house is $249. If they look at your chimney and see that it needs a big cleaning, they'll provide the thorough cleaning and charge you $249. On the other hand, if they look at your chimney and see that it's all fine, they'll leave and still charge you $249 even though they didn't do anything. Bottom line - shop around for a business that won't charge you high fees for not doing anything at all.
