I have to say that I did not think I could buy a house let alone build a new house but Brooklyn at the Sanford location was amazing! She helped me through the loan process and helped me get started. Once I got my pre-approval back they told me they would fit a home in my budget and they sure have! VBH services was amazing.Their staff Don, Rick,and Taryn was extraordinary. We had the house built for our mother. Our home is beautiful. There was a few things that I wasn't please with.By me having my own business I want my customers to be satisfied. Our home is 2,048sq ft and our kitchen is the size of half of my grandbaby room. There are a few cabinets. We dont have enough of room to put our pots and pans at.I was shocked when we walk into the kitchen. That's my mother favorite thing is the kitchen because she's loves to cook, theres no linen closet,in my office room there is no plug outlet

Our house isn't complete yet but our experience with Value Build has been great so far! I had a good feeling from the first phone call when Debra talked us through the entire process. Everything has gone exactly like she said it would. Terry was our home designer and he promised to keep up within our budget and he did! Shannon has been great keeping us informed of everything along the way and answering our questions. Rick has been a pleasure to communicate with and Taryn has been AWESOME! Super efficient, kept to promised timelines, had good quality crews that worked long hours. Would recommend them all day. The team we had with us through this Don, Ron, Taryn and Rick from the office side, and the incredible contractor Paul; they always were on top of things and keeping the flow moving toward completion. I have not completely started the building process, but I literally cried tears on joy on my 1st call with Brooklyn. After calling a lot of companies and being treated like a number, she spent over an hour on the phone with me going over numbers and the process. We talked about family and everything. She was absolutely amazing.I ended that call educated, confident and all around happy. For this reason alone I will definitely be using True Value to build my dream home.

I arrived to see 2 homes with signs saying "self tour". I followed the path to the homes and couldn't get in. The lock code was very difficult to figure out... I had no idea which style home it was (there were example homes with instructions". I attempted to follow them but couldn't figure it out. I decided it was my working a 12 hour nightshift and 3.5 hour drive there (no sleep now for 24+ hours). So I did the next best thing went to speak with a live person. I entered what I think is the office but there's a UPS sorry we missed you sign up. Uh-oh! No one is there

From start to finish it was quite the experience as first time homebuyers. Our team was supportive and helped the whole process. The process was well worth it in the end. Jeff was great regardless of the economic struggles. And the work that he had to put into giving us our home. Due to COVID and the market it wasn’t easy but we couldn’t be any happier. My experience with value build homes has been excellent! Through out the entities process there were open lines of communication which is imperative especially when you are building your forever home. I have worked in the construction Industry almost my entire life and I have never been more impressed with the professionalism and the amount of dedication that they put into each of the homes that they build. 5/5 I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family!

I am looking to build a home in the Raleigh area, I found Value Build homes on the web and set an appointment through the on line sales team for a visit last week. I was impressed with the professional service from the first contact through the meeting with the Sales Professional on site. I plan to build my custom home with Value Build Homes and if anyone looking to build or purchase a modular home really need to talk to this company before making your decision. Their equity program system will save you a lot of money and you get a site built home not modular which is a much better investment in

So I initially chalked the nine months it took to build this house up to some isolated " incidents" within the company and bad timing, but that is far from the truth. I will say the owner who I suspect is just smooth with his words, did seem genuine in trying rectify the terrible experience my wife went through while I was deployed and the even worse experience we both went through three months after returning, but nope doesn't stop there....it's now five months after closing and now the problems continue to manifest. We ended up w a beautiful home but beware that this place is an administrative nightmare! From the beginning it was clear that they were perhaps understaffed and maybe that was why they couldn't return phone calls in a timely manner. Once we finally got the paperwork done we waited for groundbreaking and things moved slowly. We prodded w phone calls as best we could and had several different case managers before we finally received one who followed us to the end and made sure we were happy w our home. We did find little things that drive us nutso - dryer outlet installed upside down, garage
