Founded in 2003, Rossen Landscape strives to create beautiful designs that also provide the smartest solutions to maximize the resources of each property. When Jeff was 12 years old, he raised Koi from eggs in an aquarium. Once the eggs hatched, his parents allowed him to build his first pond. Jeff spent five years rebuilding and perfecting the pond before launching his first business, Atlantic Landworks. A few years - and several ponds and gardens - later, Jeff graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Landscape Technology.

We are absolutely ecstatic with the outcome of the project that the Rossen team just completed. More importantly, working with Sam (3x now) and Brandon made the process enjoyable, which is never an easy thing to say when dealing with larger projects.
Brandon did an amazing job keeping us informed throughout the entire process and gave us confidence that any issues that came up would be easily and quickly resolved. There aren’t many businesses that you can say are the best. They are. This is a family business which has real landscape and design build expertise and vision. Work and materials are first rate. We've used Rossen for maintenance and care of our property for 3 years now -- and we're very happy that we made the switch. The property looks amazing -- shrubs pruned, weeds gone, beds mulched, flowers popping. It looks great. We've also done several design-install projects -- adding shrubs, trees, annuals, etc -- and these projects have gone really well. During design phase they used tools that created views of our house with new proposed plantings, it let us know what the property would look like so we could make decisions. The installation was per plan..and they stand behind their work.

I wrote a bad review initially on this company. My reasoning for that review was based on not knowing what type of services Rossen provides. I stated that they look to do good work as I see what they do with a neighbors property. My concern was with their high costs. The confusion for these costs are because they have transitioned from a generic landscaping company to a Build & Design, with Estate landscape management. The model makes sense as to lump speciality resources within one crew. This was not advertise and Jeff Rossen is working on how to communicate this - he called me and explained

We've been using Rossen Landscape for over 3 yrs for both landscaping and snow removal. They are very knowledgeable about types of plants/flowers and try to make your landscaping design blend along with what is naturally around your property. This way the design enhances without making landscaping seem artificial and not natural looking. Their employees work very hard especially in extreme heat. They make sure they leave your property free of dirt and yard debris. As a local business, I highly recommend Rossen Landscape.

We started with a blank slate and Rossen Landscape did a fantastic job. They designed beautiful plantings, a wonderful fire pit and great outdoor lighting. We could not be more pleased. A couple of the trees died early on (probably due to the crazy weather) and they were immediately replaced under the warranty. Everyone is incredibly pleasant to deal with and very responsive. Highly recommend.

They have been absolutely phenomenal throughout the process and have truly transformed the look and feel of our home. Rossen Landscape was a wonderful fine. We first used them for snow removal this past winter and were very pleased with their work. Because our front landscaping needed some reviving, we contacted Rossen and had their landscape designer, April Sullivan, come over for a design and estimate. We were very impressed with her unbelievable knowledge of plants and flowers. She, like us, wanted to create something to blend with the natural surroundings of the property. We hired Rossen to design a new front walkway and the surrounding landscape. Their designed listened to what we wanted, offered her own good suggestions, and drew up a lovely plan. The installation was smooth and it looks great! The project turned out just how we wanted it to, how can you beat that! We will definitely hire Rossen again.
