I looked all over the Kansas City area for a specialty bulb last minute to complete a job and no one else has what I was looking for. Watts Up had the exact LED retrofit bulb in stock to keep me on schedule and get the job done that day. The staff is very personable and genuinely wanted to get me exactly what I wanted. Love the selection and customer service here- I've never stumped them with any of my bulb needs. Do wish their hours were more convenient. They're closed on the weekends, despite the fact that their giant neon 'open' sign seems to flash 24/7. Guess they're just showing off their bulbs, not really saying they're open??? Haha

I can't count the hours I have spent looking for specialty light bulbs at all of the area hardware stores. Luckily I was told about Watts Up Lighting, and I now have a lot more time on my hands! Whether you need a typical lightbulb or something out of the ordinary, this is the place to come. The best part is that you just bring the bulb to the desk and they go to the warehouse and find just what you need. I can't believe I didn't review this place before. Good place. Need a bulb? They probably have it. Case in point.
120v 100w halogen tube light... long style. They have it for $5 bucks.
I could look all over town and find 300w and 500w in the long style, but not the 100w. So if you need an odd bulb, don't waste the petro going all over the place. Drop by here or ring them up. They probably have it.

Everything in lighting here, including knowledge by the staff. They are so helpful and go the extra mile to try and locate what I'm looking for. I've found their pricing to be better than the big box stores on several of the bulbs I've needed.
I learned today I can use full spectrum bulbs in my basement lamps and fixtures and get the effect of having natural light in that area. Perfect for reading, studying, sewing, and crafts. That will save me money from buying those expensive Ott Lites.

Hey, if you like funky designer lighting like I do, you will will definitely find yourself in the position of tracking down some funky light bulbs.
Last week my cat had his usual evening "cat crazies" and attempted to run through my lucite lamp. which he interpreted as open space. The entire Pablo light hit the floor like a rock and broke both bulbs.
Drove over to Shawnee and went inside a very small storefront. All the space was behind the counter where everyone had desks set up. What could all those people be doing all day?
