2 weeks ago I had an appointment for a representative from Byers to provide a quote for leaf guards. Their estimator Coryon arrived and insisted he come into my house to discuss the leaf guards. He comes in my house then asks to use my bathroom. What professional company does this? He did not discuss anything related to leaf guards. In fact he wanted private info like if I owned my house, how many years we owned the home, did my husband and I work and where. What the hell! Then he had the audacity to discuss a contract, he didn't even look at my gutters until I insisted he look at the gutters

I'm very remiss in writing this review for Byers, as they replaced our home gutter system one year ago. Our home is in Arnold, CA surrounding by tall pine and cedar trees near 4,300' elevation in the Sierras. Having clogged gutters from all of the pine needles was a constant problem, and after 20+ years they just rusted out. It was time to do something. I was interested in a leaf protection gutter system and heard good things about Byers. I also did quite a lot of checking around, including talking with neighbors who worked with Byers in the past. They noted it wasn't cheap

After having new wide plank vinyl installed where we once had off white berber carpeting, we realized our great room seemed considerably darker so we decided to explore a solar type tube. We had gone to the Auburn Home Show and there we met a couple of different installers, one being Byers. The salesperson at Byers answered all of our questions to our satisfaction but the other company had two young guys at their booth and they were really 'sketchy' on our questions, especially the price. I really loved my experience dealing with this company. From the office staff to the three gentleman who came out to our home, they were all very professional and responsive, and performed high-quality work. The office staff was very communicative and coordinated very well with us, and the gentlemen that came out actually called us the night before to confirm their service appointment. We had Byers come to our house to help us deal with some gutter problems. When Brian came to our house to look at the gutters and give us an estimate he was great - very friendly, professional and helpful.
We had new gutters installed on the front of our house. They also repaired our old gutters in the back. Chris and Seth came today at 0700 and were done by 1143. They explained what they were going to do, did a great job on the gutters and answered all my questions.
We could not be happier with Byers. From beginning to end our experience has been very positive and we are completely satisfied

This is the second time I have used Byers and my 3rd skylight. I am so pleased with the results! The staff is always amazing. Andy was super professional, thorough! Salesman came out. Very professional and personable. He provided the quote, and we got on the list to schedule. The list was about 1 month long.
Installation crew came out (called 2 days prior; Stating they could come a day early in the afternoon). Installed over 2 days. They were professional, efficient and cleaned up well after themselves. One High quality install!!!

When you call the telephone number on TV for the special, they tell you that they are not offering that special. They said that corporate offered that special but they are not offering it. When a special is offered on a TV commercial and And they say call now for the special, that special should be honored.

My wife and I have wanted Solatubes for a long time like 3 years. Well yesterday we were blessed to have three Solatubes installed in our home. Jordan and Daniel completed all three in a timely manner and were both professional and very nice throughout the process. Our hallway, bathroom and laundry room are now beautifully lit up with natural light as we had hoped for!

Last year I priced gutter cleaning and decided I would check new gutters as well.
Byers came and prior to discussing options the agent inspected existing gutters. Straight off he showed me a cell phone photo of a small hand level on my gutter edge and a bubble which was not level. I was told that the not level gutter was sloping away from the downspout which resulted in pooling and deteriorated metal of the gutter.
After a strong pressure sales pitch, I signed a contract knowing I had 72 hour cancellation.
After salesman left all happy that I signed, I took a my 3 foot long level to the gutter

Beyond that they are the most expensive game in town, as soon as you start to question their pricing they basically ignore you and never return a phone call again. They do not like to be shopped against and they figure if you do not buy their "dog and pony show" sales pitch they abort you as a potential customer. They gave me a presentation with pricing in home and refused to send me a copy of their pricing. I knew I was in for a total snow-job when they start dropping "NASA" references in the sales pitch.

Complete junk. Paid $10,000 for $4,000 worth of gutters in hopes to never have to clean oak leaves again. (We have lots of oak trees) the down spouts looked as cheesy as can be assembled in multiple parts instead of one nice mandrel bent unit. They did come out and try to make this better. However, we were promised you won't hear the dribbling of water in the down spouts.... Nope! Then in the inside corners they said the amount of water would over run the normal design, so they installed a cheesy screen which still cannot handle the flow. I've been a homeowner for the last 7 years...the last 3 years, I have gone to the fair, spoken with the people of "Whole House Fans" given them my info and never ever received a call....and then I stumbled upon Byer's LeafGuard.

My apologies Jeff. You are correct. You all did come back, evaluate the issue and in a timely manner repair/correct the initial issues. We do appreciate everything that you folks were able to accomplish and in the timeframe you did it in. Customer service was top notch and I really appreciated the way you treated my mom and listening to her when she voiced her concerns. I am hopeful that these added corrections to the initial install remedies the overflow issue, which we will see later this year (2018).

Wow! What was the darkest corner in our kitchen is now the brightest. All done, quick easy and per the estimate. I knew that it would be nice, but is actually a beautiful fixture, increasing the daylight in the day and acting as a nightlight after dark...
