Purchased a Valor (Propane) Fireplace insert from Comfort Living Fireplaces. They installed it (to include the chimney liner and gas line) in a timely manor and without any issues. We love it. It has been several years and the only maintenance has been to swap out a couple of AA batteries. Highly recommend the product and service from Comfort Living Fireplaces. Thanks.

I too have called twice to have the chimney looked at and cleaned, each time I called I was told that someone will call me back. Never happened so I guess I need to try someone else. Bummer since they are located right in my neighborhood.
UPDATE:
After my post I was promptly called by the staff at the showroom who was able to schedule me for a vist and address all of my questions. When the appointment day arrived, the workers showed up at the exact time I was scheduled.

I knew when I bought my very old home that I would need to find great service providers for the work that needed to be done that was outside of my own abilities. Comfort Living has been the ONLY provider that has actually done everything they said they would do, when they said they would do it and for the amount discussed. Thank you Kathy and Bob. Had two of my four fireplaces converted to gas, Valor units, and really wish we would have done this earlier. Even with the difficulties my home gave the contractors, they came up with solutions to make it work. They cleaned up all the debris when the
