Whips Pool Service

Sadly, the quality of Whips Pool Service is now wonting. I would not have realized how poor it was, had they not failed to acknowledge my mailed renewal forcing me to find an exceptional service, Diamond Pools!
For the first time since acquiring this home, our double Roman gunite pool was crystal clear.

Had a new liner installed at the end of last year only to find significant wrinkles in it upon opening the pool in the spring. I called in May asking for it to be fixed and was promised it would be fixed in about a month.

Several months and numerous calls later, I want to close the pool and will have to do so now with the wrinkles still in place. Tons of excuses, zero results from the company.

Save yourself the headaches and take your business elsewhere.

I highly recommend NOT hiring this company for any of your pool needs. Not sure how this company is even in business - The customer service is terrible and the work performance is even worse. The owner is an absolute joke. If I could give zero stars I would. Thank goodness they are not the only option for our pool needs! We will never use this company ever again!!

I switched to Whips Pools to close my pool last year because they were cheaper than my previous company. What a mistake. I asked Whips to open my pool this year (2021). They came and opened it, dumped chemicals in my salt water in ground pool and left. I caught them at my side window as they were walking down the driveway, gave me thumbs up and said it was running good. I didn't check the pool until later that afternoon. This year, I hired WHIPS to open my pool. The technicians came to my home and somehow got into the pool area because no one called me to come out with key and I also needed to confirm a few things.

We have had our pool for 18 years. Time for a new liner. Called Whips and all seemed fine. Erin was nice, but never told us that they do not do the liner replacements until after I paid. They "farm it out". Well, it was done late July last year so we were able to use it for August before I closed it on Labor day weekend. We had to put water in that month a few times but chalked it up to the kids and their friends doing cannon balls. Looked under the safety cover in April expecting to see the pool full of water. Whips is top-notch! We worked with them for both an in-ground pool and then a hot tub. Their responsiveness and customer service was excellent! They coordinated everything for us including electrical, masonry and landscaping making both projects run smoothly and complete quickly. Good experience with these folks. Had an above ground liner replaced (it was only 5 years old), Spoke to Erin in the office numerous times to get the right liner picked out and have someone stop by to make sure the pool was in good shape for new liner. Happy to report it was, technician Tom was in constant contact with owner via cell phone. The next day the install team came over - Arrived promptly at 2 and finished at 330. Great service from good people. I highly recommend Whips pool service.

Whips pool service was a pleasure to work with, amazing products at very reasonable prices. My wife and I really wanted an inground pool although the price tags we received from other big name companies was out of our budget range and seemed to consistently change every time we talked to them. Whips made our vision for a backyard oasis possible. Anyone looking for a new pool or even service for an existing pool give Whips a call you won't be disappointed.

Great service. Whips took my rusty old 1970s inground pool that had serious structral problems fixed the issues and made it look/operate like brand new. They also installed a new stamped concrete patio around the pool. The work was not only completed the right way it was on schedule and within the cost estimate. Everyone who comes to my house compliments us on the beautiful pool and patio. Their opening and closing services are also great just schedule the date and its done. Highly recommended!

Three years ago I purchased a new home with an existing inground pool. Upon opening it for the first time a series of issues were uncovered with my pool. Whips pool service came out on short notice and was able to not only fix all of the issues, but they were significantly cheaper than all of the other companies I had come out. I have been using Whip's Pool Service ever since for openings, closings, and any maintenance. I have seen Brian the owner personally work on my pool in passed sundown to make sure the job was done. He works side by side with his employees everyday and is a true professional

The people who answer the phone and schedule service are friendly. They had the best price in the area for an opening and did the job quickly. However, they left some safety cover anchors up saying that they were frozen and someone would be out to fix it. Okay. It was weeks and two phone calls (including being told I wasn't even on the repair list) before someone came out. And then I find out that they kept my credit card number on file - WRITTEN ON PAPER. How did I know? Because they called me to say they tried to run it for the anchor repair but it didn't go through. I was never told

Had an appointment to get a liner installed. They supposedly showed up and couldn't do the job because they're not pool installers. Never spoke to the person that was home to say why they couldn't install the liner. I had to call them to find out why they weren't coming. Called the next day to speak to a manager and my call was never returned.
