The technician arrived early and was very courteous. He confirmed the work (our chimney rain cap had fallen off) and took care of it in a short time. Chimney Monkey also quoted less than half what another chimney company quoted, and upon research of what a rain cap cost we realized Chimney Monkey was a clear choice for this straight-forward task. Had a great experience with Brad from Chimney Monkey this afternoon! We're in the process of buying a home, and needed to get a dedicated fireplace/chimney inspection since we weren't able to get the fireplace to work during our initial home inspection. A different company quoted $600 for the same service. Chimney monkey quoted $215. Not only their price was good, their value was excellent: they scheduled the visit right away, they always answer their phone, they answered a lot of questions prior to and during service, they were honest and didn't try to upsell anything. Plus they were really detail oriented in their inspection and provided pictures. The chimney cap looks great. I will definitely hire them again.

My chimney was leaking condensation into my basement when the furnace was on, due to the previous owners of the home not properly sealing off the old stack pipe vent into the chimne from the original furnace of the home. This problem became worse when I had a newer more efficient furnace installed. The previous owners also used wood to put the new stack pipe in, which is combustible. Chimney Monkey came out, gave me a fair estimate, installed a chimney liner, sealed off the old stack pipe connection with concrete, and removed the wood. Good work

OK seriously, don't even consider anyone else to handle all your chimney/fireplace concerns. When we bought our home about 2 years ago, we had zero knowledge of the fireplace. We imagined it was as easy as buying some ceramic logs and a grate from Amazon, arranging them, and lighting it up. This company is terrible! Terrible customer service, and they do not follow through. I had them to our house in August for an inspection and a they were going to order a new remote control. Never got a updates on the status of this issue. I had to chase them to get answers and it was never resolved. We are now we are going to hire a different company to help us out. This was a small issue (a simple remote control) and they could not handle that...wow. I wonder how they stay in business.

Don't use this company if you expect to have any sort of communication or response. We had them come out for an inspection September 18 and we're told we would get an estimate for repairs that were needed. I called and emailed several times over the next week and a half asking for out estimate. Then on September 29 someone came out again to do another inspection because the first one wasn't good enough. He told my husband we needed a lot of work done and would get us an estimate. Yet again we haven't heard back from anyone and have not received any estimates.

I had to wait 2 1/2 weeks for an appointment the window they gave me was between 12 and 12:30 They called me at 12:10 to tell me they couldn't make it. After I rearrange my work schedule to be home. I have some bricks crumbling apart at the bottom of my chimney in the basement which I believed to be from precipitation making its way into the chimney. I was warned that no matter what, "chimney guys" will tell you that you need a new liner and to be leery.
