The tech who came out was thorough, courteous, and honest. We had ordered cleaning for two chimneys, he took the item off the invoice and saved us the money. The cleaning was thorough, he was careful to get into each crack and corner, inside and out. During the inspection he offered options to reduce cost and trouble for us. Too many companies I've engaged have tried to pressure me into buying services I don't need. It was a relief to feel I was being given an honest assessment, I felt empowered in my decision. Highly recommended.

I am extremely happy with their work! When they sent the technician out (Tim) He showed up on time cleaned my chimney entirely, and gave me an inspection report. He mentioned some things that may be of concern and even showed me pictures to prove it! They came back again and fixed the issues at hand. They were clean, fast, and everything was documented and photographed. I respect the integrity and trustworthiness of these people. Thank you all!

If you are looking for a "Chimney Dude" who is honest, customer-friendly, knowledgeable and competent, then Peter of Lake County Chimney Sweeps is your guy. I had my fireplace checked out, a chimney cap replaced, and satellite dish removed from my chimney - by Peter, the owner. He gave me an honest inspection of my fireplace - said it was in good condition and completed some minor clean up at no charge. Cap replacement and additional work were very reasonably priced. I plan on using him again in future

Highly recommend them. Peter was able to schedule an appointment within a day of my phone inquiry. He came to check out an issue with my gas fireplace and determined there was no problem -just an issue with downdraft due to low atmospheric pressure and/or cold flue. He did not charge for the visit and was very professional and helpful. Would definitely use again
