Tranquil Waters was established in 1984 by Norman, Oklahoma native Jack Shepherd who was later joined in 2006 by crew member Matt Wohlmuth, also from Norman. In 2012, after nearly 30 years of service, Jack retired from the swimming pool maintenance industry and proudly passed the torch of ownership on to Mr. Wohlmuth.

We had a hard time getting anyone to come out and help us with our pool. Mike and the company were super helpful and explained the process thoroughly. The price was discussed and did not change at all through the process. We will be using this company for a very long and highly recommend them!

Called this company because of the ratings and reviews on line. Our pool had gotten away from us and I lacked the time and energy to get it back up to the desired clarity. The service tech came out and after several minutes said he was just back from vacation and that he did not have all the equipment in his truck that he needed. He loaded up everything that he had gotten out and left. A few days later he came back it was raining. He started to vacuum the shallow end of the pool and got a swath about six feet wide done. Said he had to leave--never came back.

Not impressed at all. Very unprofessional. Look at my past reviews, I have never left a negative review. To my knowledge, this is my first one. We have a 30,000 gallon in ground vinyl pool. Apparently, ,having a vinyl pool is beneath them. Their tech told my wife that basically our pool and all our equipment was cheap. We had a tear in our pool from the massive freeze we had in 2020. Hired them to fix the tear, replace our pool light, and change the sand in our filtration system. The repair was patched, and is holding...thank you. However, never got an estimate for the light, or the sand change
